One of the best videos you ever make. :)
I think that the third point is by far the most important.
I would include a tenth point: Keep the wrist steady.
I had (when I was a kid) a tennis coach that used to say: "Use the wrist only to carry the watch". :)
    vamooos!!!

What made me progress a lot are:
    1) Identify the trajectory/hit impact before moving.
    2) Prepare as soon as possible
    3) Keep the eyes on the ball until touching.
Didn't know about the open angle (thanks!)

He’s chasing the ball into the back wall on the back hand like a squash player. You can tell him to play all the points you make but it won’t make any difference until he’s makes the correction of just moving back sideways and then he will naturally take the ball in front of him. If he keeps his body facing the back glass all the other points are mute. I know because I was a squash player myself I made the same mistake.

thanks Sven. Tons of good tips here and I suppose all of them are useful for me at this stage.
I'd be interested in a video that focus on the bandeja/vibora from the right side. Most of the videos online are all focused on left side players. Thanks!

Steve, I followed your advice and my defensive game improved a lot. Even though the environment was very humid, the tracking of the ball and the height was a great differentiator. Thank you! ¡¡VAMOS!!

We played against a team that was standing at the back the whole match, and I feel we could have done a better job of taking advantage of them not coming to the net. What is the best tactic in dealing with someone that is always staying behind the service line?

Well, go the net whenever you can. And play to the fence

@@OtroNivelPadel I guess I was afraid of not being able to block their hard topspin strokes, but I will try to go to the net more next time!

I think the best place to defend is to be in the middle and the second player is a striker. This tactic is very cool 😎
