This documentary not only gives a little perspective to what goes into exhibiting at a show, but it also shows the thoughts behind the concept. I set out to answer one question. How do we make our towns & cities greener? For me, it's about involving young people, engaging with horticultural retailers, developers & local authorities so that all parties benefit. What's next? Check out this video to find out how I plan to implement these ideas nationwide: th-cam.com/video/oGCCmCiDctg/w-d-xo.html
Special thanks to the team of students. Not a single one of them study horticulture but are passionate about making our cities greener. They volunteered their own time to the project and had lessons with me each week for 2 months. They give me hope for the future!
So blessed to have you showing the behind-the-scenes for these RHS garden shows! I love your overall focus on the urban gardening community and the challenges they face in being more green-friendly. Seeing the younger generation becoming so in-tune and passionate lets me know we will be in great hands. Many thanks for sharing your inspirational content.♥♥♥
Jason, watching your gardening journey has been incredibly inspirational. I'm writing in from Vancouver, British Columbia and my neighbourhood is currently going through a transformation from houses and low-rise apartments to 20 story glass towers. The loss of green spaces and street trees is very concerning to myself and my neighbours. Seeing how you advocate for urban greening and balcony gardens and the resources you create is so important and you are truly one of my heroes. Much love!
Feel free to pass on any of the information you get from my videos to help in your area too ❤ In my previous video sharing my new opportunity , I spoke about my research trip. I'm not just searching for answers to help Manchester. It is for all of us who live in the city, so once I have finished and consolidated my research, I would be happy to travel to you and meet your local leaders! ❤ I will mention that in my follow-up video later this week ❤️
I know how blessed I am to live on the wonderfully rural / coastal island of the Isle of Wight . I did live in an urban landscape - first in Manchester , then Stockport....I really value your desire to make more green spaces within city scapes . ❤
Thank you so much! Hopefully, my work will lead to more people in our cities getting those same benefits you get to enjoy even though you're slightly more rural! As always, thank you for watching and for all of your support! ❤️💚💚❤️
I have much gratitude for the commitment and dedication of all involved in this project. I totally relate with your desire for your work to be a living "legacy." I am often approached for projects but struggle with the 'we did a thing' concept. It is truly inspiring to see the level of investment of the collective minds that got you and your needs. Best to you always in all your endeavors. It goes without saying, but you are a legacy builder. Journey on sunflower 🌻. I am here for it!
Hi Jason, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your gardening adventures and how it has impacted not only your own life but also so many others. Gardening is such a healing thing to do, whether it's a tiny space or large space, community or private space. Hugs and blessings
Thank you soo much!! I am learning so much on my research trip.. hopefully my videos in the new series will help others in towns & cities see a bit more green ❤
A pleasure to be involved with such a wonderful project. All your hard work has paid off and what a lovely video portraying it! Hats off to you Jason 👏👏

@@CloudGardenerUK they are originally based in Japan but are global now! I wear them for running - some of the technical shoes are quite expensive but they have reasonable models and the older styles go on sale when they release a new version!
Thank you Brenda.. currently I am filming my new series in Singapore & Europe but I have been given updates.. the relocated gardens have flourished! ❤❤
Thank you for watching! I normally take you on tours of the flower shows so I thought it would be interesting to share a different perspective and seeing all the work that goes into making a garden. Fingers crossed, all this work will be a platform we can use to make our cities greener! 💚 Thank you for watching ❤️💚❤️💚
