Skiing with a view of Austria's highest peak, Heiligenblut am Grossglockner

The ski resort Grossglockner Heiligenblut is located in Carinthia, Austria. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 55 km of slopes. 12 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,301 and 2,902 m.

Is there snow in December?
We planning to go there for Christmas...

By Christmas, the ski resort usually opens, but it is difficult to predict what the weather will be like this year and how many slopes will be able to be covered with snow.

Currently when we arrive there was hardly much Snow. But next 5 day there will fell meter of Snow so it can be very enjoyable, also absolutely no traffic. Visit!
