Funfact: ATM with ultracite bracers on the Vulcan PA you always apply poison to enemys, no matter if in melee or ranged damage. I am using Viper on my GP and it works very well
@@carlosojeda26 Based on the mod description, it is. Likely to be fixed... whenever they can get around to it. Bugs tend to be the meta until they're fixed.
Strangler Heart is my go too PA, I don’t really need to mid max my defense and I like seeing the debuff on enemies. Vipers just made it all more worth it!

Every piece has Overeaters, Endurance, Sentinels, and thanks to friends and luck, Rejuvenators. Additionally I know all the important ultricite mods like medic pump and calibrated shocks. At least, picture perfect for my needs!

Hey Wiggle, if you want to get the best effect from this, the best weapon would be the pepper shaker followed by the gauss shotgun. The more projectiles, the more damage with the Viper's effect.
I started experimenting with this set on the PTS for maximizing the damage output of the Shredding Minigun. So few things will boost the damage after full bashing investment, aside from raw STR. The poison/Viper's effect seemed to do the job. Now I'm running a heavy weapons plasma gatling build with this set while still maintaining maximum damage output with my shredder. Best of both worlds.
V94 Armor Changes There have been changes to the Strangler Heart Power Armor and also to the V94 Thorn Armor. V94 Strangler Heart Power Armor The passive AOE (Area of Effect) damage has been increased from 4 to 20 poison per pulse, i.e. +800% increase after poison resistance. Semi-automatic / single-shot weapons now cause 125 poison damage over 5 seconds (previously 30 over 3 seconds), i.e. +482% increase after poison resistance. Automatic weapons now cause 100 poison damage over 5 seconds (previously 30 over 3 seconds), i.e. +329% increase after poison resistance. Shotguns (without scattered/splitter mods) now cause 240 poison damage over 6 seconds (once per shot, previously 6 damage per bullet over 3 seconds), so +1392% increase after poison resistance (only one DOT instead of 8 small DOTs) try the strangler in conjuction with the kabloom and vipers, its pretty decent, especially against low tier enemies, the pepper shaker is better for higher tier things like super mutants etc last pts cycle i requested bethesda to actually give the kabloom a on hit poison dmg effect similar to any other elemental weapon in the game, direct and dot dmg. i think it went under the radar, but they did change it to have direct poison dmg along with dot dmg now. thanks for the video
I noticed that the plasma caster is pretty buggy in vats. I've been missing 95% shots very frequently. I get there's a 5% chance to miss, but I do not believe missing 5-10 shots in a row every other fight is very statistically probable.
The plasma caster greatly benefits from the 2* mod V.A.T.S. Enhanced (+50% Chance to Hit a Target in V.A.T.S.). Once you've tried it, you'll never want to switch back.
Miasma is very localized close to the player and wouldn't effect anything other than very close melee attackers. I've found it to be not a very good effect.
@@wiggle_plays Yeah, I've found the short range of Miasma to be problematic. It pairs well with the Stinky Prefix though! Would be great if it could be modified by explosion radius.
A dunno why but yesterday farming scorched i was missing 80% to 90% vats hit chances almost all the time. It was frustrating and i just ended up free aiming to hit the scorched. Never happened before and it was on every server i went to.

Idk if its lag or what, it seems like every time when using an auto weapon like fixer or railway with vats and gun-fu, every the first one or two shots just dont hit the target even at 95% hit chance. And even without gin-fu recently I’ve noticed exactly what you are talking about. My game crashed literally 6 consecutive times the other day when trying to spawn into a SBQ event, been crashing way more in general lately. Xbox
@BuenoMcgurski I shot at a scorched in vats 6 times with a cremator during collision course and didn't hit it and it should have hit it even if it missed slightly. I was missing almost every shot in vats.
@ the cremator is infuriating in vats, and thats how I prefer to use that weapon. It will never hit the target if you fire immediately after focusing on a target in vats, you have to wait a beat before you fire. Then sometimes it just doesn’t hit even if you wait, but that happens less. The cremator is really weird though, like the way the fireball zigzags above the enemy for a second before it hits

It mostly boils down to available options. I'd prefer the .50 cal but the damage is too low for raids. LMG suffers from low ammo capacity and AP cost that's too high for VATS usage.
@@wiggle_playsi use an AA/E/25AP/Pin-Point LMG for add clear and the same roll Gauss Mini or Gat Plas for boss dmg. Really good setup, my buddy and I duo the raid all the time (he has a similar setup)

Any chance you can confirm if attacks from the minigun shredder apply this effect? The shredder has a weird weapon class.

You may like the new PA too if you happen to get it, it adds poison dmg to all attacks as well (even though it says only melee)

You can also get a disease with the plague walker mutation.
The downside is that you can't benefit from the End perks that require you not be diseased.
