Awesome goal man. Looks like we'll be seeing y'all again back here in Colorado! Gotta rack up that vert! Can't believe downieville does not have snow. I envy you all man!
I'll be damned if the conditions out there don't look pretty great right now. Also...for the holidays maybe you can just upload a 24 hour video of you doing climbs for the year. That will be our Yule Log for Christmas. Just a thought.
Setting the bar dude! Hitting that number will be god-level. Another outstanding vid! It would be great to see a vid on how you set up your bike for the trails you ride. Cheers
Good trail karma clearing those trees. I like to do that too. I also have a game where if I put a foot down in national forest I have to find 3 pieces of trash to pick up. Games.
Impressive vert! My best (both road and MTB) is 50,782 M (166,607 ft.). It's a little limited because I live on the coast. Most ride profiles look like I'm flatlining.
Did ya get the million feet? That number is even more impressive with the kind of riding you're doing - most of my elevation comes fairly easily on mellow local trails with a 19 pound gravel bike. Ya have me thinking about how big of a day I can do at Downieville now. I typically knock out about 6,000 feet climbing doing the Big Boulder loop without a shuttle (been doing it on a Ripley the last few years) - haven't ventured over to the Halls Ranch area yet...
NorCal MTB he doesn't even show edited cuts. No people would rather see short clips of him struggling and being fired but not a full on 20-30 minutes. However there are a few minority of peeps who probably would watch it all. Anywho it was all in good humor I wasn't being too serious about it
So you promise us 1,000,000ft of climbing but this video is almost entirely that boring downhill stuff!?!?!? Pah. Also, you should upload footage of all the climbing for people to use while they're on indoor trainers. You'll need a lot of memory cards and batteries though...
If you happen to come to Oregon this summer definitely check out Alsea Falls. Some great flowing trails there. Keep the vids up!
ragreenburg Seconded! It’s my home trail system and a total blast.

That's a ton of climbing...that means a ton of good drops! 💪🏼

Super nice edit. Rad adventure! 🍻
Wicked goal! Yeah love to see some climbing supercut with daily & accrued vert count before bombing it. Keep it up!
Animal!!! Go for it bro...1,000,000 feet!!!

That’s a good game!
GET SOME!
Those reactions tho to fall under the tree! Also having a saw on hand nice
All it takes is time! Sure you got this

Get it amigo. You got this.
Have you thought about adding an elevation accumulator at the end of each video so that we can cheer you on to your 2020 vert goal?
th4tguy MTB will do, was a little rushed getting this video released
Good Luck Dude!!! Rip It!! Trying to do the same myself. At 197K so far.
oh, so by climbing you mean descending huh? never thought about it like that... i love it
When the cranks stay level, climbing it's not.
I’ll post a video of me just going uphill 😂
@@TrailPeek Yes, that.
I dig your friend's hair!
As a fellow NorCal rider would say: That's hella feet. But I have full faith in you broh.
The dreaded one soaker situation!! Nice ride though
Is that a berm creek sticker on the frame?

wow what a trail!
Serious question: Are you counting park and/or shuttling? Or just climbing? 1mil vert is impressive either way!
Just pedaling uphill, no e bikes, lifts, shuttles
Just pedaling uphill, no e bikes, lifts, shuttles
3000 a day is a fucking awesome year of riding.
Good luck dude, I’ve always wanted to climb 1M but have never managed
Hell no you can’t , it’s a dh channel !!! 😆
So the big question: Did you end up getting the 1M feet of vert?
selling the rm's? new models or new brand?
One thing we will never see is a video of him climbing 8k feet of elevation haha
liquidSpin why would anyone watch a video of just climbing? Only point of climbing is to access the downhill 👍

Tactical tree slidin on the way to 1m
That's some good lookin' teeth you got there.
nice and fast👌🏻🔥
Sick and if the bear appears, is it not terrible to roll?
I would never be able to walk that stream in my XC shoes
Are you making your eBike climbing count for anything? ...I'd think you should still count some of it at least, toward your goal.
I won’t count e bikes. I don’t actually have one right now either
That's 2-3k every single day for 12 months
Sounds fun, but I have to work full-time so this will likely never happen. I’d be stoked with 300k per year.
Rent a Heckler from Yuba Expeditions....that will get it done 😂😂😂
One million ft and a million dollars plz
2,700+ ft of climbing each day to get 1 mil.
But we didn't see any climbing!
You’ll get to see the million feet of descending! Anyone want to watch me climb? 😂
@@TrailPeek depends how hard you're breathing :)
E-bike count?
Lol no bueno
asking the real questions
I don’t have one right now. And nah I’m not counting any assists
shuttling or ebikes don’t count
We all know that you could. The real question is do REALLY want to do that?
Get yourself a motorcycle
