Awesome Song! I just heard it at the end of the Hell On Wheels season finale. It was playing during a scene in which the main character, a guy that had already lost his wife and child during the Civil War, was carrying his dead lover to a church. I know it was just a show, but it had raw emotion!
That's the beauty of it. In 20 years the world will value this great song and we are the ones who will be proud to say " I've told you so twenty years ago".
Thank you... still cant get over lilly dying..such love and beauty, I cant think what Bohannon must feel, after losing his wife and kid,his farm, his way of life, and the war, i mean this guy is just the good guy trying to right thing at the worst time...just like most of us...
a friend just told me about this band today ... wow very good lyrics and incredible live perfomance, this song is a must on everyone playlist people ...
Excellent version...God, this album is so incredible, cannot stop listenting to it... Aha, the Gibson...I have the black Epiphone version of that guitar. It's pretty good as well! : )
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club cerrando el domingo y Bloc Party cerrando el festival el Lunes. Viva Rock al Parque, Viva Bogotá, Viva Colombia y que viva el RoCKaNdRolL hp!! See you on sunday!!!!!!!
It's not over because i haven't forgotten about it and i'll never forgive it. That's how. You are right about it being worse. In those days a decent person could stand up for themselves or make those who wronged them pay. Now days the cowards hide behind the law and laugh about it.
my bad. i thot it was an ibanez coz my mate has a similar lookin one. i jst noticed the signature gibson diamonds on the head stock. a bit of a schoolboy error on my part. jl
I'll just say it's not over yet though some may think it is. Unfortunatley the world we live in today is not like it was then. However the right place at the right time.
"Unfortunatley the world we live in today is not like it was then" you mena not filled full of evil men who just went to watch the world burn? where the innocent are victimised for no reason, where the hero is too late to save the day? you are right the world we live in today is not like it was then, it worst, we dont learn the lessons of the past, we just repeat them. how is it not over if i may ask?
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law. To pursue… natural justice. This is not vengeance. Revenge is not a valid motive, it’s an emotional response. No. Not vengeance. Punishment. Its up to us to make the swedes of the world pay for their actions. wish lilly had a 1911 or a Ruger LCP.
