I feel like Sam Winchester wasn't well written, so we could grasp his awesomeness: he isn't quick to react, always trys to verify his conclusions; always looking to hack his Way; got smart moves. Didn't took bullshit from his Dad, was trying to forge his own life.
I definitely share your view🌸 Actually, the first season was the best to show us the inner features of Winchesters.
And I was shocked when final seasons showed a moment of Sam trying to put out a burning paper by blowing on it... That was not typical of him.

I don't remember that part 🤭. But in my book, he was cool enough with how he behaved with Jack, you know. Willing to give him a chance at life, understanding what he was going through when he was soulless, and when he blew and killed Mary.
