I got totally blocked by a girl once that told me she was vegan and I asked her what she thought about the book "The Hidden Life of Trees". The book is about how plants and trees are actually very aware of the world around them and actually can and will interact with other trees and/or plants. She accused me of patronizing her and making things up. I have also had a girl totally attack me for saying she was intelligent. She replied with the same that I was being condescending and patronizing while I said that I really enjoyed the quotes she had posted and liked that she was intelligent.
As a vegan, if your first response is to start arguing about how trees feel pain, I'd block you too. Be real it wasn't going to work out. No need to waste each other's time.

This is factually and unequivocally proven thru many studies. You are right that it wasn't going to work out and would have been a waste of time with her ignorant views. However, a rational, intelligent person would have listened to the facts and evaluated their beliefs. They would have realized that many of their vegan viewpoints are grounded in disinformation and would have changed their ways. That's what intelligent, mature humans do. They get information, reference it with their own knowledge and adapt accordingly. Those who believe they have everything figured out and their beliefs are the only truth are delusional.

I was in a concert in UC campus watching busta rhymes and spliff star. It was a free concert, I was pretty lit up, but he stopped everything and mic dropped when he saw a kid wandering around. He yelled “Who’s kid is this”. They took the kid on stage and berated the audience. He didn’t continue the show until he was retrieved. Cool dude… sensational.

These flags could be a result of insecurities, emotional and/or mental immaturity, childhood emotional neglect, attention/validation seeking, attachment issues, etc.
Observing people's personalities, character and behaviours rather than focusing on their 'physical attractiveness' is a good way to overcome the halo effect.
Also, like attracts like, so make sure to be self-aware and reflect on your actions/behaviour to grow and mature as a person. And be compassionate to others as you'd be to yourself.
These are just my observations & opinions and should be held up to scrutiny.

Being harassed by a woman is not fun, there was this girl in my university and we would exchange looks from time to time when i aproached her she blatantly ignored me, i moved on met a girl and we started dating and when she saw us together, she started to get interested in me again suddenly. She would not stop staring at me and following me everywhere i went and she would also invade my personal space in the most inappropiate of ways, i recall being in the library and being startled by someone who rested her hand on my knee, it was this girl and she was asking me something on a very flirty way. I didnt answer her question and left the place without saying anything.
She would repeat this kind of behavior for a time, but it was quite stressing for me.
I once had a tinder date tell me she was a feminist. I walked out and left her with the drinks bill.

I can't bend down to shave anymore because of a disability. Most people actually don't care. My ex husband didn't care, and my current boyfriend doesn't care. No one is staring at your legs when you go out in public. And if they are staring at me it's usually because of something else. So if someone is going to judge me for something as shallow as the hair that grows on my body then they are free to leave and find some bald bodied beauty.
