Long story down below:
When I was in the US Airforce, during my technical school training as a Security Forces (cop + Security guard) airman, there was this amazingly attractive latina working at the DFAC (Dining facility) on the Army base where we were doing Infantry training.
She really was a solid 10/10 for me personally and EVERYONE though she was too.
Well one day in line as she's giving me food I said "ma'am, I just wanted to say that I think you're beautiful." And thats all I said. She blushed and smiled and said thanks awkwardly.
But then I would just be friendly to her in line as we got meals in the last week or so of being there.
Then the day we were leaving that base headed back to Lackland AFB, I was laying in my bed and 3 guys came to my room all excited and hyper. I was like "wtf is going on?" They said "you have to come to the DFAC! You know that hot chic? She's asking about you and wants to see you!!"
I immediately got up and went to the DFAC. For some reason this old Mexican lady (her aunt or grandma or something) pulled me into a room and had her come out and hug me. She gave me her number and we went on our way. Everyone was congratulating me.
Then we started talking on the phone here and there and we were gonna go out during the weekend because she was living in San Antonio, which is where Lackland AFB is located. She stood me up a few times and I decided to not waste time anymore.
Well then I fly back home to Pennsylvania where I'm from and literally the day I got home she started texting me saying "I want to be with you I miss you..." blah blah blah.
My response: "I dont want to be in a long term relationship and we never even got to hangout because you stood me up."
Her response to that was "You don't know what you're missing out on. Fk you!"
My response : "I'm deleting your number have a nice life" lol 😆 😂

The best thing about being ugly(not really that but more accepting that you aren’t the most attractive) is that you don’t get hurt from someone calling you ugly because you are fully aware that you might not be the most attractive so the best way to shut down that insult is to take it straight faced and say yes which kinda just confuses them. this shows you don’t have a ridiculous ego and have accepted your imperfections.
The most important thing is to have a realistic self-image, based on as much objective evidence as possible.
That way nobody can ruin your day just by calling you names.
It's also one of the early steps one needs to take when developing a sense of self respect.

In highschool i was kind of an average looking guy. None of the "popular" girls really gave me the time of day. I didnt think any of them even knew who I was. A couple years ago I went back to my hometown and hit up the pubs with some of my friends and all of the popular girls from school that are now overweight seeing me being a reasonably in shape dude (i am not super ripped but ive take care of myself) were all trying to talk to me and seemingly all knew my name. So the entire time I was in school they knew who I was by name, they just chose to not give me the time of day and now that they dont have the upper hand, I was the one not giving them the time of day lol.
That was the same with me mate expected both the girls and boys didn't really like me as I was bluntly honest but they all respected me for my honesty as something happened everyone could go to me if I saw it and I tell the truth and I kept no one's side then my best friend came to my primary school and about 9, 10 years ago we become best friend and even brothers and now we're still hanging out alot
I was recently doing great on not simping or falling for anything girls do in our class but there's this one particular girl, every time I see her I start looking away to not make eye contact and act weird.
