God I wish a whole bunch of us who played this game could meet up in person and just chat over lunch or something. I don’t know anyone near me that has played this masterpiece. And that just makes me so sad.
Man, easily one of the most disturbing parts of the game, the city full of the dead souls of the cycle, learning about the horrific testing the desperate volunteers for the Archetype went through, their diary entries showing their tests and their deaths, with their blind faith that Garufa Inc may yet save them all from their slow death if even one person can survive the process.....only to learn it was all a front to weaponize the Archetype even in the face of the immanent end of Humanity. To top it all off, we learn that Melia is dying from the exact same condition that claimed most of the volunteers, and is already at such an advanced stage that she is going through multiple organ failure already. Then as if that's not a kick enough to the teeth, we finally manage to get somewhere with convincing Nim back to our side, only to immediately lose her as she remains behind to stop the souls from consuming the whole party.
The Pearl route was my favourite part of Rejuvenation V13, the lore and atmosphere was amazing and it gave me major endgame Xenoblade Chronicles 2 vibes. Can’t wait for the lore of the Archetype, Genesis Syndrome and Garufa Inc to be expanded upon in the future.
@@kingkarma7384 The Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum Routes are all part of the story of Chapter 15: Vague Clarity. They occur at the same in-universe time but from different characters' perspectives. If you've beaten V13, you've already seen all of them. You play as Erin in the Diamond Route, Melia in the Pearl Route, and Aelita and your own character in the different branches of the Platinum Route.
@@thesinistermobs1564did anyone else encounter a glitch in the platinum route on the MCs group? For me I’m still trying to get it resolved. I didn’t save but I can’t get past the white room where we all (Amber, Saki, Russ and ourself) have to get 6 points. I go in the room after beating up the SEC robots and I’m stuck in there. Wondering if anyone else has this problem.
This sounds amazing, can't wait to get to that part of the game... OH WAIT I CAN'T, I'M STUCK AT VALOR MT BECAUSE I WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO PLAY WITH INTENSE MODE
Yeah, Luck is a good choice if you don't have the patience to beat someone, also, a tip for u. If you're playing intense, by all means CATCH AS MANY POKEMONS AS YOU CAN; seriously, I can't even emphasize correctly HOW MUCH having a wide variety of mons in your pc can save your ass, like, i dunno, a few mons with field effect changing moves or abilities, mons with wide guard (because these essentially grant you the first move for free and even a second or third if you are smart enough to predict the IA) (Mr. Mime is good for this and I think Vanilluxe has this move too); Then we have the trick room battles against someone a few times and these are hell but for that we have items like power bracer, power band, and etc that NORMALLY are complete and utter shit for a normal pokemon game, but they halve the speed of any mon essentially saving your ass. So in general, keep an open mind for strategies, having as many mons as items are a game changer.
@@GrimTzu haha you're a bit late as I ended up finishing v13, but that power bracer - trickroom combo is super interesting, i'm keeping that in mind for the future ! (for the hazuki fight btw i ended up reversing the trick room with an oranguru i think ^^)
@@morygon2896 Haha, well, I didn't want to give away any spoilers in case you haven't beaten the game, but yes, power items + wide guard is how I defeated Lorna in Post-apocaliptic Hiyoshi (Of course, having a power Item instead of something boosting the strength of your mons or healing/protecting them is a downside, but sometimes you just need raw power to defeat someone and you don't have to have all your six mons with power items bc, in the example of Lorna, she can reverse the trick room screwing you completely, I had those items equipped on 2 or 3 mons that I KNEW she would try keep the trick room strat). Oh, and btw, keep a mon with sturdy + counter in your pc ALWAYS (Lvl. 45, bonsly saved me against lorna, couldn't defeat stonjouner and it was the last pokemon she threw at me, so I sturdy countered) (At least that's how I think it went down the whole battle. Even Angie v13 and Hazuki didn't give me that much trouble).
@@GrimTzu oh yeah I forgot Lorna existed x) that sturdy counter strat is something I never thought of as well, but I did use a LOT a shuckle with sturdy sticky web for fast teams, or sturdy power trick for bosses. Funny how you mention Angie next to that trick room stuff btw because I beat her using my own trick room if I remember well, with an elemental seed

That would actually be so fun oh my god
Just some sandwiches as everyone chats about this game that has crushed our souls

Probably the next place to visit about Garufa Inc will be under evergreen since there is an entrance to a submerged pyramid beneath the island.
Pearl Route? How do I know which route i took?

Just go back to Gearen City, find Mr. Luck and change your difficulty. It's simple.
