i just bought one of these. Mine doest look that good how do you get the screen so crisp i have alot of pixles showing shading not super bad but certainly not like this
The "hot" animals look great, but *all* of the background looks very washed out - is this due to focus, or is the unit having issues distinguishing/rendering between things in the image with less heat gradient?
The latter. Thermals are really great for seeing living things and pretty crummy for navigating terrain for this reason. A lot of people think the best of both worlds is to run a PVS14 on one eye and a mini thermal on the other eye so you get both.
The background is somewhat washed out but most of the reason is because it isn’t focused to that distance. Night vision is better for navigating around but this little IRay can actually do the job pretty well under decent conditions!
It's definitely a cool piece of equipment.

What do I need to use the usbc port to view the image? I would like to be able to remote view on a monitor in real time for training
how did you record this?
what filter are you using for this? snb filter? same with nox 18

friend, why do you have this bluish image? got sharper, and a lens filter for the iray mh25?
this snb filter and the same Nb using the cameras?
Great clip, thank you for posting. How did you record from the MH25?
Nox18 or this for helmet mount?
What are you using to record? Is it the UNV mini DVR by chance?
was this captured through the usb c port?
Hey, no it wasn't. It is a video taken through a modified GoPro behind the IRay.
@@sureshotnightvision Does it produce a better image? I am interested in using the mh25 as a camera with live video from the output
