Interesting. The other review I found for this on TH-cam was not so favorable. I found a cask strength store pick of this for $80 but I don’t think I’m getting it. Seems like a gamble.

Thank goodness you chose to drink a lot! Nice review Sean. I have a wife and 4 daughters that have mentioned Brothers Bond on occasion. I didn’t “ bite” for the celebrity reasons but after watching and seeing the cask strength around lately I might take a stab at it. Thanks for the content.
I picked up my first bottle for my whiskey journey. It’s a Dalmore 12 year and although I’m enjoying it I’d love a top 3 recommendation for what bottles I should be looking for during the next visit.
Hey Alex! That is awesome! What did you think of the Dalmore? What do like as far as flavors? Do you prefer sweet or robust? I would love to give you some suggestions. Two good bourbons to start with are Wild Turkey 101 and Benchmark Full Proof. These won’t break the bank and are staples I have around. Let them sit for 20 minutes after the first pour and slow sip them. Then go back to the bottle a couple weeks later after they have opened up. After that let me know what you liked or didn’t like! @@echoesineternitybourbon apologies for the late response, never got the notification but the Dalmore is sweet due to the finishing in oloroso Sherry casks but not overpowering due to the low proof (80 proof) you don’t get a ton of flavors lingering due to it not being as viscous as I thought it would be. I picked up a weller special reserve and find that has a much longer lingering taste. I find myself drinking more of the weller because it’s just so damn good and packs a ton of flavor and doesn’t drink like it’s 96 proof.
What if for 750, we did a distillery take over, ie. 13th Colony, ASW, etc, and filmed the whole thing? Or we could just rent out a space/park here in Phenix City/Columbus and do a bottle share? It could be great content for you and your channel and an opportunity for your subs to all meet each other and make connections with other whiskey nerds in our community. We could also, at the event, do a giveaway for the 750 subscribers mark. Maybe do a live stream of the whole event? It would take quite a bit of planning, but I think it could be a neat idea!
