Basically, this is how most of Holocure players work: 1. New update come in 2. People play it all the time like they are addicted 3. They complete all of the new contents (ranged between 1 day to several weeks depend on how hardcore you are). 4. People have nothing else to do, so they stop playing and waiting for new update. 5. Back to number 1 if the dev post something about new update. Now the dev already announced that new updates will come in around 2 weeks from when I write this comment, the cycle will start at full speed again lol.
The holocure community is a force to be reckoned with. Some of us will not leave a holocure video unwatched. Especially me, since I have a potato laptop and can't run the game.

Stage 4 was added in the previous update from last year. It was designed with people that had been playing for about 2 years already in mind and is made to be extremely difficult evenn for those of us with everything unlocked buffed and loaded twice so dont sweat it

@@PirateKiraiOnifrom my experience atleast try to unlock the character first and find one that suitable for your playstyle, upgrading stat is important but also cost alot of coin so i suggest to farm first at lower level. I recommend get reine (the blue bird girl) from holoro gen or risu (the squirrel girl) from area 15 to farm gold, irys and azki can also do it but need alot of set up in battle. For 4th stage, 1 and 2 hard i think it's doable without house if you have a pretty solid stat

Something as easy to beat as lv1 with greed stamp superchatto time and Halu can net tons of coins then max out coin exp and marketing to maximize gains on farming runs and you can quickly get enough to tackle about anything. I personally also like Sanas limiter for pick-up range and trying to keep everything in one to kill and grab exp as quickly as possible but thats just me
0:32 okay so here's a thing about Holocure: it's like most games: becomes viral on updates/release then dead on YT but remains with a good share of community who still plays it the reason is just because the game is, although fun to repeat; in terms of content repeated gameplay is not really fun to watch if there isnt like severe variety like challenges or speedrun or just jank things to find, so it gets no views thus no reason to make YT videos of it when there isnt anything new and hype isnt there we the fans mostly come to holocure videos because we find amusing the reaction of non-fans playing it. the gameplay eventually is boring to watch (but still fun to play) so we just stick to reaction, once the first impression is gone then there's little amusement of the game for YT content lucky for you, we're back again because theres an upcoming update that is coming in REAL hot so everyone is hyped back again on this game
the thing about Holocure stage is you definitely need a lot of upgrades and grinds to tackle it, just the recommended upgrade from the "choose stage" is not enough, here's how you can upgrade - Shop and buy upgrade, this is the most obvious - G.Rank, everytime you get duplicate of the same character they will increase that character status 1% up to 20x - Fandom, buy it on the shop first then look under achievement each stage you clear with that character it will add exp to fandom and at max you will have a huge buff - lastly you also can get buff from Hololhouse by cooking, each cooking have different buff so be sure to check that all in all goodluck

I almost did the Couch Potato one with Choco but at last, it didn't matter. So I also went with Fauna. I remember grabbing healing items as well as the full course meal one.
Sana is also good for couch potato as her main weapon has huge knockback at lvl 7 and her ult gives her invulnerability and sucks in all the xp thats too far away
Hey man glad your enjoying the game. Hope this vid does just as well. Hard to tell how much you've unlocked but some of the items that are somewhat useless to have other uses. Wont spoil too much but try to get a couple of weapons up to lvl 7. It's typically better to use the anvils to upgrade rather than enhance as its always free and helps get to lvl 7 With the update coming out as well most off the Holo girls and the guys will be playing it ahead of the puplic release so the term holocure is about to pop off again on youtube.
There's over a thousand people playing right now, which considering I'm in Australian morning time and the game hasn't received an update for about a year, thats pretty damn good. The game is just in a bit of a content drought atm, but the 0.7 patch on the 15th is gonna add a lot of shit.
It has no difficulty level. It's as easy or as hard as you make it. If you go into hard levels early it's going to be hard. Just buy the stat upgrades in the shop, get a food buff and improve your Fandom. Fandom helps a lot. When it's maxed you start with all skills maxed and get power boosts. And make a super collab. It doesn't really matter which one. And regular collabs. Collabs help a ton. Unlock all the items. Some of them are extremely strong like Irys and Shion's items. Certain ones naturally work together so having them all unlocked is very important.
One piece of advice, get colabs since they are huge improvements (mostly) by combining 2 specific max level non main weapons. So the axe and book combine to cover a larger area, and clrun constantly. Spider cooking and either lava bucket or axe cause large damage aoes on the map.
But yeah if you want suggestions on video formats for this game what people usually do is to have the vids be based on specific characters. Wether it be trying out a new character from the get go, or brainstorming and experimenting with builds for em.
Stage 4 is hard because it doesn't have as much mobs as the other difficult stages and the few that there is are tanky. So you think there are a lot of them but they actually just gather because you're not killing them fast enough. And even if you do kill them, you don't get as much exp as when you kill a group of mobs from Stage 1 - Hard and other stages.
Because most people already finished the content and waiting for the next update, which fortunately VERY soon, like 15th of November. XD But yeah, welcome to holocure. This video appeared on my recommendations.
Great video and btw the character you use get a buff when she uses her ultimate. And if you die while the buff is active you will insta revive your self and i think you will get full hp too ( a lessen in life to read your abilitiesXD )
The new update just got a release date so there'll be a surge of activity again until we've all played the new update to death and then we'll be back to swarming people who just happen to find the game because it's a neat VS-like/bullet heaven, etc. I still get got by Stage 4 sometimes (max enemy spawn level in the shop + max spawn item), even though it's supposed to be easier than Hard Stage 3 which is what I've been playing the most of for the past year or two (I don't remember how old the current version is). Just finished a regular run of 4 to upgrade a character's fandom level, but I'm sure Endless would end me due to the shape of the stage and not knowing the patterns. I really dislike running into and getting caught in the rounded corners on this stage lmao
oh yeah Kiara has a resurrection mechanic that after using her ULT for a brief amount of time you can ressurect back. buff timer is on the lower left of the screen also if you're having a hard time seeing due to all the effects garbage on screen, you can lower their opacity in the options also it seems that you prefer horizontal investment vs. vertical, that's why you haven't discovered collabs (like EVO in Vampire Survivors) where you combine two weapons to create a stronger one
Even if the sideways beam seems useless, beam+plug asacoco+monkeys paw makes an amazing weapon. Max two compatible weapons to be able to combine them. -Four- of these combined weapon combinations can be combined with a specific item to further buff the weapon and free an item slot while keeping the item’s effect. Make 3 colabs, or reach level 50 and find a gold hammer to be able combine a colab weapon with its maxed item. Edit: Five now after the update.
Btw, there are special Collab Weapons which you can get by combining some specific Weapons if you level them both up to max. So some of the weapons that you might consider "bad" might be a piece to make a way better Collab Weapon

Dont forget if you are playing as Kiara, her Phoenix super grants temporary revival status in case you die. But it wears out if you don't trigger it in time

Just stumbled on your channel as I enjoy people play this game. Tip: try getting the fan beam and plug in asacoco, And get them to lvl 7 after making your main weapon to lvl 7. You can combine them called collabs.
For less trouble in stage 4, buying the attack and speed buffs as priority instead of money is like mandatory You have so little space compared to the rest of stages
@misot90 yeah but Fauna has better survivability with her shields and saplings not to mention her ult is literally immortality, also with enough upgrades any character can pull exp from far away so Sana as much as I loved her is pretty redundant
Or Anya. I find that her ability to sleep and attack at the same time to be very helpful. And if you don't use knockback items or advance her main weapon to knockback stage, then mobs and bosses die right on top of her giving you access to chests, anvils and drops. Just buff anvil drops and pickup range.
The game takes the gloves off in stage 3. In stage 4 it dons the _brass knuckles._ You definitely want some solid store upgrades (and a solid grasp of the weapons, esp. the Collabs) going into that one... 💀
0.7 is coming out really soon. People will definitely be picking it up again around that time. Out of the starting characters, Mori Calliope is probably the strongest. Large area of attack, and lots of damage bonuses for being aggressive. I'd say Kiara is actually on the weaker side right now, but she's definitely the most beginner friendly, with lots of tools geared towards survivability. Shop upgrades are pretty important. At the very minimum, you should get the recommended stats for the level you attempt. Duplicates of characters also give stat bonuses (up to the 20 duplicate). Having a high fandom level with the character also improves stats. Many items and weapons are locked behind achievements. There's also a good chunk of coins in achievements as well. One of them, Coach Potato, requires you to win a stage mode run without moving at all. There are specific weapons that can combine together to make what's called a collab. Collabs are very powerful, and they only take a single weapon slot. But you need to max both weapons to be able to combine them. As for what combines with something else, sometimes it's kind of obvious, but a lot of the time it's related to memes from the Hololive community. If you don't want to manually figure out what all 20+ are, I recommend looking them up. There's so much more to the game that I haven't mentioned, and probably a lot more when 0.7 comes out (the Casino is arriving for example). I hope you enjoy your experience!

As someone who LOVES HoloLive, but does NOT actively follow any particular member... This video is a lot of fun to watch, and also hilarious. I play HoloCure, despite it being a game I wouldn't normally enjoy. I think it's because anime, and because I do know the characters and a lot of the lore. Again, not a super fan or anything, but I know enough. I think this video works well BECAUSE you don't know anything about Hololive. For some reason, that makes the video a lot more entertaining. You enjoy the game for what it provides, not because you're into cute anime vtubers, and I absolutely respect that.
I still appreciate these kinds of videos, big ups. If you want money, I have a real good strat. Max out the sla... employees. I get about 200k in 20 minutes(one game) passively. I have them all in max lvl platinums. It's a lot of fishing and farming to achieve, but you won't have to worry about gold problems from then on.
Grind some more coins for the gacha banner. Use Irys, Azki, Risu or Reine. Use get these items to collect all the coins like: Halu, Super Chatto Time and Stolen Piggy Bank. And also, the most important stamp: Greed Stamp.
honestly, i find Stage 3(Hard) to be easier than plain old Stage 4. some survivability is important but you really need to up your leathality if you want to make it through i find.
Same, it was my last achievement (apart from gachikoi of course). I optimized my runs to be able to get it: no enhancement upgrades, max marketing, kaela with credit card + blacksmith's gear + halu 5, and making sure to keep enough anvils to enhance every weapon twice before and after collab and super collab for a total of 15 attempts at the achievement per run. It still took me 2 runs to achieve like this, even though you should get the achievement every 10 attempts on average (90% success rate). Good luck!
You pretty much never want to stand still playing Kiara. I know you mentioned character with a large range of attack, but Ame and Zeta are easy to use even though you need to aim their shots. Sana has a wide arc she attacks in, and although her range isn't much, you can buff the size of her attack and attack peed to increase the numbers of enemies you can hit without really needing to aim at all. Kiara is my favorite though.
Also, not sure if you realized, but while kiara's special is active, she gets a free revive since She's a phoenix. Feathers are redundant when playing her.
Everyone knows what a -twitch- vtuber is at this point, but not what hololive is. So holo fans flock to holocure uploads for reactions specific to hololive, lol. Get them to talk their favorite characters or references for a load of comments. That and some heavy backseat gaming. Because the game has build crafting as a core gameplay.
My first impulse is to give some advice, since the first thing that jumped out at me was that you still only have the 5 starters, but since there's a new video out, I won't go too heavy on that advice here. I will just say that, regarding why "just the 5 starters" seems like a mistake, that's just because it *appears* you weren't doing the in game gacha to unlock more characters. Not that any of the starter characters are BAD, far from it! But some are more broken then others. Plus, getting copies of a character that's already been unlocked raises something called a GR rank, which buffs that character's stats. (maxxing out at 20) Not having new characters, makes me assume you weren't doing the Gacha at all, which means you probably weren't even doing the gacha FOR the 5 starter characters. And, well, getting a couple copies of Kiara (the redhead you keep picking) would make her quite a bit stronger.🤷♂
Ive been getting into hololive for a month and I still dont understand all theses references. But to be fair, I'm mostly into HoloEN Advent and Justice and they are mostly too recent to not be in these projects.
You're meant to grind... each stage has a recommended amount if upgrades to have bought at the shop, which is displayed at the stage select screen in Speed and Attack. Stage 4 recommends lv4 of each. But also, some stages are just rougher than others, like Stage 1 Hard is actually easier than Stage 2 Normal, simply because your space is not limited. Stages 3 and 4 are not infinite in any direction like 1 and 2, so those tend to be harder... and this new update coming on the 15th is likely going to finally add 4 Hard as well as others. Well, I'd gotten everyone to G. Rank 20, most to Gachikoi Fandom, all fishing done, bought everything from the shop ages ago, and am almost done with all achievements... i'm ready to go.
So yeah, I think you jumped too far ahead in the level select. The difficulty spike at around level 4 is insane. If you're going to make more videos about this game going ahead, I'd maybe try making some ritual like doing the character gacha for a new character and looking up what the most popular clip of that hololive member is. Some of them have utterly hilarious clips. You could probably also ask for people to recommend clips in the youtube comments for the characters. (Personally I'm very partial towards Korone's DOOM playthrough, usually titled something like "DOOG" (Korone is half dog, not in the weird furry way, just cute dog ears on an anime girl), as well as the eekum bookum clips, of which there are amazing animated versions of the clips done by a channel called 2manysnacks) It's highly recommended to get some of the other characters, as some of them have insane money farming capability with certain item combinations (i.e. one run can get you halfway towards unlocking every upgrade to max), and others are the true endgame viable ones in terms of weapons and abilities. Also, completing maps with the various starting characters unlocks other items.
you're in luck since it'll have an update on the 15th of nov. so the game will pick up again. new characters , new weapons and maps. it's hard cause you haven't leveled your characters and choosing a more difficult map. start with the weak maps first level your characters then make your way up. don't worry there are more difficult maps even if you maxed out everything it'll be still a challenge. btw there's a exploit i do that get you a higher chance of getting sparkling version of the items. don't get any item from level ups. just focus on weapons. if you must only the glasses since it is the most useful even if it isn't a sparkling version. the most sparkling item i get is 3 in one run.

Reducing the opacity of weapons also helps with potato computer.

Max two compatible weapons to be able to combine them.
-Four- of these combined weapon combinations can be combined with a specific item to further buff the weapon and free an item slot while keeping the item’s effect. Make 3 colabs, or reach level 50 and find a gold hammer to be able combine a colab weapon with its maxed item.

Dont forget if you are playing as Kiara, her Phoenix super grants temporary revival status in case you die. But it wears out if you don't trigger it in time

Just stumbled on your channel as I enjoy people play this game. Tip: try getting the fan beam and plug in asacoco, And get them to lvl 7 after making your main weapon to lvl 7. You can combine them called collabs.

For less trouble in stage 4, buying the attack and speed buffs as priority instead of money is like mandatory

Or Sana. Just using her ult pulls EXP towards her, which makes everything so much easier.
@misot90 yeah but Fauna has better survivability with her shields and saplings not to mention her ult is literally immortality, also with enough upgrades any character can pull exp from far away so Sana as much as I loved her is pretty redundant
Or Anya. I find that her ability to sleep and attack at the same time to be very helpful. And if you don't use knockback items or advance her main weapon to knockback stage, then mobs and bosses die right on top of her giving you access to chests, anvils and drops. Just buff anvil drops and pickup range.
I did mine with Fubuki, but I needed phoenix feather and max fandom.
If you play with main weapon only, the sure win built is -pikipiki piman + hp stats

For Stages 4/3Hard you need to max out at least most of your upgrades or you won't be able to manage them ever. This is by design.
0.7 is coming out really soon. People will definitely be picking it up again around that time.
Out of the starting characters, Mori Calliope is probably the strongest. Large area of attack, and lots of damage bonuses for being aggressive.
I'd say Kiara is actually on the weaker side right now, but she's definitely the most beginner friendly, with lots of tools geared towards survivability.
Shop upgrades are pretty important. At the very minimum, you should get the recommended stats for the level you attempt. Duplicates of characters also give stat bonuses (up to the 20 duplicate). Having a high fandom level with the character also improves stats.
Many items and weapons are locked behind achievements. There's also a good chunk of coins in achievements as well. One of them, Coach Potato, requires you to win a stage mode run without moving at all.
There are specific weapons that can combine together to make what's called a collab. Collabs are very powerful, and they only take a single weapon slot. But you need to max both weapons to be able to combine them. As for what combines with something else, sometimes it's kind of obvious, but a lot of the time it's related to memes from the Hololive community. If you don't want to manually figure out what all 20+ are, I recommend looking them up.
There's so much more to the game that I haven't mentioned, and probably a lot more when 0.7 comes out (the Casino is arriving for example). I hope you enjoy your experience!

I play HoloCure, despite it being a game I wouldn't normally enjoy. I think it's because anime, and because I do know the characters and a lot of the lore.

I think this video works well BECAUSE you don't know anything about Hololive. For some reason, that makes the video a lot more entertaining. You enjoy the game for what it provides, not because you're into cute anime vtubers, and I absolutely respect that.

If you want money, I have a real good strat. Max out the sla... employees. I get about 200k in 20 minutes(one game) passively. I have them all in max lvl platinums.
It's a lot of fishing and farming to achieve, but you won't have to worry about gold problems from then on.
If you play with your controller is a lot easier since you can just use the right stick to aim

Grind some more coins for the gacha banner. Use Irys, Azki, Risu or Reine. Use get these items to collect all the coins like: Halu, Super Chatto Time and Stolen Piggy Bank. And also, the most important stamp: Greed Stamp.

Stage 4 is just harder than stage 1 hardcore for some reason. Try unlocking new characters
honestly, i find Stage 3(Hard) to be easier than plain old Stage 4. some survivability is important but you really need to up your leathality if you want to make it through i find.

Same, it was my last achievement (apart from gachikoi of course). I optimized my runs to be able to get it: no enhancement upgrades, max marketing, kaela with credit card + blacksmith's gear + halu 5, and making sure to keep enough anvils to enhance every weapon twice before and after collab and super collab for a total of 15 attempts at the achievement per run. It still took me 2 runs to achieve like this, even though you should get the achievement every 10 attempts on average (90% success rate). Good luck!
stage 4 is the second hardest level, stage 1 hard and stage 2 hard are easier

You pretty much never want to stand still playing Kiara. I know you mentioned character with a large range of attack, but Ame and Zeta are easy to use even though you need to aim their shots. Sana has a wide arc she attacks in, and although her range isn't much, you can buff the size of her attack and attack peed to increase the numbers of enemies you can hit without really needing to aim at all. Kiara is my favorite though.
Also, not sure if you realized, but while kiara's special is active, she gets a free revive since She's a phoenix. Feathers are redundant when playing her.

Everyone knows what a -twitch- vtuber is at this point, but not what hololive is. So holo fans flock to holocure uploads for reactions specific to hololive, lol. Get them to talk their favorite characters or references for a load of comments.
That and some heavy backseat gaming. Because the game has build crafting as a core gameplay.
My first impulse is to give some advice, since the first thing that jumped out at me was that you still only have the 5 starters, but since there's a new video out, I won't go too heavy on that advice here.
I will just say that, regarding why "just the 5 starters" seems like a mistake, that's just because it *appears* you weren't doing the in game gacha to unlock more characters.
Not that any of the starter characters are BAD, far from it! But some are more broken then others.
Plus, getting copies of a character that's already been unlocked raises something called a GR rank, which buffs that character's stats. (maxxing out at 20) Not having new characters, makes me assume you weren't doing the Gacha at all, which means you probably weren't even doing the gacha FOR the 5 starter characters.
And, well, getting a couple copies of Kiara (the redhead you keep picking) would make her quite a bit stronger.🤷♂

Ive been getting into hololive for a month and I still dont understand all theses references. But to be fair, I'm mostly into HoloEN Advent and Justice and they are mostly too recent to not be in these projects.

You're meant to grind... each stage has a recommended amount if upgrades to have bought at the shop, which is displayed at the stage select screen in Speed and Attack. Stage 4 recommends lv4 of each.
But also, some stages are just rougher than others, like Stage 1 Hard is actually easier than Stage 2 Normal, simply because your space is not limited. Stages 3 and 4 are not infinite in any direction like 1 and 2, so those tend to be harder... and this new update coming on the 15th is likely going to finally add 4 Hard as well as others.
Well, I'd gotten everyone to G. Rank 20, most to Gachikoi Fandom, all fishing done, bought everything from the shop ages ago, and am almost done with all achievements... i'm ready to go.
So yeah, I think you jumped too far ahead in the level select. The difficulty spike at around level 4 is insane.
If you're going to make more videos about this game going ahead, I'd maybe try making some ritual like doing the character gacha for a new character and looking up what the most popular clip of that hololive member is. Some of them have utterly hilarious clips. You could probably also ask for people to recommend clips in the youtube comments for the characters. (Personally I'm very partial towards Korone's DOOM playthrough, usually titled something like "DOOG" (Korone is half dog, not in the weird furry way, just cute dog ears on an anime girl), as well as the eekum bookum clips, of which there are amazing animated versions of the clips done by a channel called 2manysnacks)
It's highly recommended to get some of the other characters, as some of them have insane money farming capability with certain item combinations (i.e. one run can get you halfway towards unlocking every upgrade to max), and others are the true endgame viable ones in terms of weapons and abilities. Also, completing maps with the various starting characters unlocks other items.
you're in luck since it'll have an update on the 15th of nov. so the game will pick up again. new characters , new weapons and maps.
it's hard cause you haven't leveled your characters and choosing a more difficult map. start with the weak maps first level your characters then make your way up. don't worry there are more difficult maps even if you maxed out everything it'll be still a challenge.
btw there's a exploit i do that get you a higher chance of getting sparkling version of the items. don't get any item from level ups. just focus on weapons. if you must only the glasses since it is the most useful even if it isn't a sparkling version.
the most sparkling item i get is 3 in one run.
