Sooo handy! There are several brands of cochlear implants, and I chose the Cochlear brand as it came with the most electrodes (22) that are inserted into the cochlea. So, on activation day, the audiologist handed me a duffel bag with lots of accessories that I show in my other videos. I chose rechargeable batteries, since the implant processor drain disposable batteries in a day n a half! An expensive new daily task. So, the duffel bag had the charger plus two rechargeable batteries along with one already mounted to my processor. So, I keep them inside and always wonder if I’ll be out n about when a battery drains empty only to realize that I forgot to bring a backup. I found the USB car charger and knew it would remove any worries of being away from home and needing to bring the charger from home.
