My mom always told me to put the money I plan to play (lose) in one pocket, and my winnings in the other. Once the play money pocket is empty, walk away. That way you should always have at least something in your pockets when you leave. I won $2100 jackpot on an 80cent bet, and I immediately walked out. It bought me a set of brand new tires and paid some bills. Lol. Haven't been back since.

Long story short, I used to win and then lose it back. Now, as soon as I win, I leave. I've won 16 times in a row now. I drove an hour and a half to a casino in San Diego, won $450 in my first 5 minutes, I cashed out and left right away. It's an absolute game changer now that I am able to do that.

@@quickplaya The house always does win... if you let them win. They bank of the mental dilemma that 99.99% of people have in a casino.... win and then gamble more. It is VERY common to put $100 in a slot and have it increase to maybe $120 to $150. 99.99% continue playing and lose it back. The casino knows this. Why not just cash out and leave? Because most people are there to have fun. I'm there to make money. If I win $20, I walk out the door. Not saying casinos are 100% beatable however, loss prevention is a real thing and I'm not the only one doing it. I learned it from people who play slots for a living.

The first hour, I won a Bingo and we have to turn in the bingo cards after winning. I had four other Bingo cards and I thought,"Surely, I'm going to win at least one other Bingo with four cards. I foolishly put the $100 into Little Shop Of Horrors and lost that $100. I thought "Okay, I lost that $100 in Little Shop Of Horrors slot, but surely, I'm going to get at least another $100 with four Bingo cards. I followed your suggestions and it worked! I always have a set budget of $250 going in to the Casino. Enough for 100 spins of $2.50 bet on penny slots. I always end up getting a big win before my 100th spin. I walk around a lot before I start playing so I can take mental notes of the machines who's on a streak of "not paying" and those who are always paying. I watch those non paying slot machines and after a few players have abandoned it, then I will start playing that particular slot machine because I have a feeling it will be on the upswing. And it is! I know its random but I always end up doubling my money. And I leave the casino immediately after doubling my money. On two days visiting the casino a week, I take home at least $500 per week and never lose my bank. I only lose when I visit the Casino with my wife who always want to stay longer. I end up giving her my bank or I keep playing waiting for her to get sleepy or tired. I just mark the loss to "Happy Wife, Happy Life" expense. LOL

Heard a pro gambler(John Patrick) say that a person will be thrilled to get bank interest on their money over a whole year but say they start with $100 and all of a sudden they are up 50 bucks in 10 minutes….that’s a 50% return but the same people satisfied with their bank interest over a whole year aren’t happy with a 50% return in 10 minutes. Money management is very important. Patrick tells people to walk away with your 50 dollar profit. From the mid 80s until the early 2000s I would go to the dog and horse tracks here in Florida and there were times I won $1,500…2,000…once for $4,500. The problem was every time I won like that I would go spend it and start throwing money around trying to hit bigger…and when I lost in the future I had none of the winnings because I spent it playing golf and going to men’s clubs and betting bigger. My dad had an accounting firm and when he knew I was gambling he would say “why work?….if you are going to just lose your money why work hard all week for nothing?) Of course he wasn’t serious but it made an impression on me.

Good advice. I sometimes upset my partner when I tell him I'm going to go back to our room or leave the casino for a while. I don't mind if he stays if he wants to, but he thinks I should just sit and watch him because he's winning. I've had to explain to him that I know myself. I usually have fun gambling, and understand it's an up and down thing. You win and you lose. But I've learned that when it's not fun anymore because ALL I'm doing is losing, I need to take a break or I'm going to get stupid and careless. And sitting and watching someone else win if you're on a losing streak is the worst thing you can do. You think, they're winning, maybe I should try again. Get up and get out and do anything but gamble for at least a few hours. It took him finding out for himself one night when he was losing and his friend was on a hot streak that sitting around watching someone else win is one of the easiest ways to lose. 😂

Tip #4 really hits home. I once drove 2.5 hours to get to the casino. I was there maybe 30 mins @ the most...and I sat down at a machine & won $3,600 on a $1.50 spin. It was only my 3rd or 4th spin too!
I was like "Gosh, I just got here...I don't wanna leave..maybe I can win more!!" I ended up losing about $600 before I snapped out of it & high-tailed it home. But I REALLY had to get stern with myself & make myself leave. Otherwise.....😂😂😂😂

    • @killerdecoy
      @killerdecoy ปีที่แล้ว +7

The key is knowing what you were willing to lose. If you were coming and willing to spend say $200 for the day take that $3,600. AND GET IT GONE from you as he said. Give it to someone else, put it in a bank near by. Whatever so it's not there. Then keep going with that original $200 you were ok with potentially losing. Once that's gone or you maybe hit another win quit. But if you can separate yourself from the winnings to what you're OK with losing then you can come out ahead still. I've done it before where I hit something big, I'm up I feel lucky. Then lose lose lose and while I'm still walking away ahead it's not as much as I could have had.

I'm a lowroller, so I'll start at the two machines I know have good line pays. Couple days ago I was up then started the decline. I walked away and got lunch. It changed my mind set. I walked out with an extra $75.
Something else that works for me is going to casino when i can stay for only a certain amount of time. Instead of going as an all day trip, like when my roommate is home to take care of the dog, I'll go when he's working. This means I only have two hours to play before I head home to relieve my dog.
BTW, I've won two jackpots in the last few month. Of course nothing is a guarantee.

Excellent information. Jacob's Life in Vegas posted a video in which he toured a slot machine manufacturing facility. He interviewed the owner - an individual who designs slot machines, manufacturers slot machines and sells them. At the end, the owner was asked by Jacob what advice he could give folks who want to win at slots (i.e. everyone). "You have to be lucky," that's it almost totally!

30+ yr gambler here. I gamble for the entertainment and enjoyment, win or lose. Six months ago I hit a life changing progressive on $1.25. I'd won a nice bonus on pennies and switched to nickels. I never dreamed of the possibility of it hitting for over $20K, but it did after about 10 spins.
I normally go to a casino about once a week, taking advantage of promos. My best friend is a locking gamble box. I love coming home and emptying it, even if it means I had an even-Steven day.

Good tips. It's always a good day when you leave a casino with most of your original bankroll. I never sit at one machine. If it doesn't pay me right away, I get up and try another. If it does pay me more than I put in, I take the win, get up and go to a different type of machine. Never put the winning voucher back in a machine, put it in your wallet until your bankroll runs out. When the bankroll is gone, cash your vouchers in and leave
    Works for me every time

06:53 more or less happened to me on one trip. A good time to stop and reassess. What I did, was walk back up to my hotel room, and set the win aside. Not to be played. Find any loose change, or coins from ticket cashing, and take those home with you, to leave the casino with a winning trip. Play the original remainder, not having to worry about leaving the casino having won.

Sometimes I don't need to make a withdraw so it's the same as coming home with some money in my pocket. My number one rule, and I tell this to everyone. Always have your bills paid first, before you gamble. Make sure you pay off what you owe for the time period you have for a pay period. Try to even have money set aside to cover your next month's bills. Budget for it.
Outside of that is money you can gamble with, but make sure you have a set amount and don't reload. You run through it, walk away. Don't get bill money mixed with gambling money.
I also absolutely agree about penny slots. They are insane for someone thinking it is a cheaper option.

Sad that casinos are removing the classic low volatility machines. One of my favorite I Laughlin has just a handful left. But others there have some left. The myth that cracks me up the most is you have to turn the volume up full blast. TH-camrs turn it up because they are recording and need to make sure they are not recording copyright back ground music. Have heard TH-camrs say have to turn up or won't win. Thanks for the info.

Since watching your videos, my gambling trips have decreased my losses, increased my take home amount and frequency of wins, and accordingly made my entertainment a lot more fun and definitely decreased my frustration. I realize I am in control. I also purchased a little gambling box for $29 on Amazon, and it has paid for itself all 3 trips I have gone since purchasing it. I split my wins. Going home and getting the keys and unlocking it with a thousand falling out is a lot more fun that giving it all back to the casino. Thank you for your wonderful advice.

And it was game over. I thought what the hell's going on here something's wrong with this machine. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the machine it was me. It was $25 $50 $75 or $100. I should have been paying more attention. Yet at the same time that machine should have been in the high-limit room which it wasn't. Fortunately I won all my money back plus a good hand before I left

Like you said, people can win well over 10k on a $10 spin or even less than that, or you can just pump $125 spins into the machine like you’re Elon Musk and get nothing and even if you do get a bonus on one of those $125 spins you’re not necessarily guaranteed to win a massive amount of money. It can still flame out.
