Hey folks! Let me know in the comments below what you thought of the build, if there are any cards you think I missed that would be a good fit for it, and what other commanders you would like to see me cover!
Built a more expensive version of this commander; he's just so much fun. Luckily most of the dice rolling cards are pretty cheap. I went for rolling instead of attractions, but it's a blast win or lose. The deck can pop off too.
@@GrazzetMTG Yeah, the three dragons are great, although copper might be pricey for some people. You could also throw in a tithe for extra treasures, and reckless endeavor as a wipe/treasure maker too.
I like the description of the second paragraph of the card as a psy op, a distraction tactic, making you think you'll have to deal with them rolling d6s and hoping for 4 or higher because "buddy, there are cards that let you roll d20, rolling 4 or higher is a joke"
This card is sitting in my bulk currently (took it out of my Hail Caesar deck while upgrading it from your other video) thinking about maybe making him my next deck
Nice build from you once again. Pretty much built how I had brewed this one as well. Appreciate you rolling these out as always. Another solid addition to this would be Monoxa, Midway Manager for more die rolling, though costly, and giving a body to swing in with for the attack triggers to work.
"Rolling these out"... I see what you did there.... In regards to Monoxa - she's a okay payoff for die rolls but I never found her to be good enough to warrant running over creatures that just roll bigger dice or have better payoffs. She's still not bad though, so I can see running her as a more aggressive, on attack focused option.
Nice, this is basically the deck i built last week, but i leaned way into the attractions, have 2 of the 3 dragons, and added any card i owned that makes a "Karn"struct
I can see that working as another way to get a consistent stream of die rolls, extra value out of attractions, and another combat centric artifact payoff in the form of Karn-structs. And having 2 of those d20 rolling dragons certainly doesn't hurt either for the power they bring to the table.
I built this but couldnt afford the dragons. I find that my deck struggles against flying and lack of life gain, getting whittled down. I reccomend anyone getting in flying creatures and the food token creation. Graveyard recursion can bring back any flying creatures that died to block if u didnt have indistructible equipment on them.
Currently making House deck myself, composed like 300 cards and now trying to cut it down to what I need, and I absolutely hate it... All stuff is neat or cool.
Yeah, I found that a single d6 die roll per turn isn't generally worth it - but its not exactly bad either so I can see the argument for or against running attractions in this build.
Was waiting for your video to build my Mr. House deck, seems we agree on a lot of picks, however instead of the sac for draw cards you included I used things like bottle cap blast and unexpected windfall in order to get more treasures to fuel Mr. House.
That is perfectly fine, though before I added these ways to convert the builds spare tokens into card advantage I was finding myself low on resources far too often - so I would see if that is the case for you as well before taking our sources of draw for more treasure generation.
I haven't completed my House deck yet, but I found myself putting in a lot of dice rolling effects without much card draw, so it was good getting an idea of some good draw spells. I also added morbid opportunist. A couple of artifact creature buffs I'm also putting in my House deck are Cyberman Patrol, Cybermen Squadron, and Alibou, Ancient Witness. Giving my artifact creatures, in order, Afflict 3, Myriad, and Haste.
Hi @grazzetMTG, love your content, can't wait to see your grand larceny precon upgrade. I found your videos very helpful and well explained, i am a new commmander player and you alwyas make fun and good budget decks, thank you for your work
Looks like the build I was brewing is fairly close to your brew! I hadn't considered the Unfinity cards at the time, and I might lean more into those as alternatives to some of the one-off roll effects. Really build up the theme that everyone else at the table is getting the full (not entirely lore accurate) New Vegas tourist experience 😅
As usual, great video. But the point that's surprise me the most are the prices for the upgraded card : geez, dice-rolling cards are so expensive in the US ! In Europe, most of these cards are 50% less expensive. Still meaning Ancient Copper dragon is horribly expensive, but upgrades are more accessible
Hope it works well for you! And also be sure to buy certain cards quickly (Vexing Puzzle Box, Component Pouch, Clown Car, and Sword of Hours specifically) since their prices have been skyrocketing since this commander was released.
I know you're probably tired of seeing my comment asking for a Lara Croft deck tech but honestly I'm so lost trying to keep it below even 200$ and somehow still make it seem playable. I'd really be grateful if you could make a video on her as a commander 😅
No worries! Honestly, I wouldn't mind tackling the build - its just that time isn't generally on my side when it comes to WotC's release schedule. Maybe when things slow down in the next few months I can circle around to tackling some Secret Layer Exclusive commanders....
OK, so my initial reply vanished after I decided to check my day count as it was quite off - not sure way. Guess New Vegas has it confiscated due to TH-cam delaying me a bunch. Amazing vid as always! Next up is Massacre Girl... nice! Better not make the toughness-draining joke this time. Day 947 of waiting for the face reveal... yikes, how did I miscount this all the way to the 300s?! Hope ya don't mind!
I proxied a similar list to this (new to magic, not spending 100s on a single deck) and the friend group all agreed I should never play this deck again. I'd like like some sorta tier 10 version of this deck. I love the dice roll randomness but I don't want to be juiced to the gills that no one plays it with me
Ignoring the fact that House rolls 5D6 if you pay treasures into his activated ability is a mistake. My list has a lot of treasure generators as well as the ability to untap the commander. The majority of the dice rolls come from active ability. This deck goes off and wins a lot of games. Many of the best token generators are budget friendly
Which, with the commander legal un-set that is available for anyone to use, is perfectly valid for *anyone* to play if they so wish. Not to mention it is actually on theme with the olden days of magic where rolling dice and flipping coins was perfectly normal. Each to their own though.
Both takes are fine. Some folks don't find enjoyment out of "weird" design space that normally associated with Un-Sets or others, while other folks embrace the weirdness. Nothing wrong with either one, as not all commanders are for everyone.
Sweet build,I run reconnaissance to keep my dice rolling creatures safe and Cyberman squadron, it's not a budget card but really worth it when swinging out with all your robots

Yeah, increasing the budget to add in the die rolling dragons, Cosmo, and Maddening Hex definitely will increase this builds potential!

cosmo stellar pup makes this deck insane. I played it the other day and i just kept rolling 6s getting additional rolls.
YES! FINALLY! THE REAL COMMADNER OF THE FALLOUT SET!
He is quite and iconic and fun to build commander, so he just might be!
@@GrazzetMTG maybe include two silver cards that have dice mechanics in them, there quite old and underpower

My favorite 2024 commander. Building him now in paper.

To clarify, I didn't build Grazzet exact build. His build is obviously better than mine. This is a great video.
Currently making House deck myself, composed like 300 cards and now trying to cut it down to what I need, and I absolutely hate it... All stuff is neat or cool.
My first concept on this i had a subtheme of Attractions! More artifact support and some free value.
And its kinda flavourful given he runs Vegas
I had mine using attractions too but in the end to roll a d6 per turn isn't really worth it for the effort spent opening the attractions

Just got paid so I'm going to build this for sure.

glittering stockpile is really good in this deck since its a mana rock thats also a treasure so it always triggers mr house.

do you think veinripper is a bit expensive manawise in the deck? I happen to have one not in a deck currently haha
Yay!
Note: you cant lose playing this list, as canonically the house always wins.
Exactly!
Hey bro, i love your mirkov deck last time, can you create a sultai gonti precon deck upgrade first? Thanks!

I don't like commanders that are nonfunctional without supplemental set cards. It feels less like a game of magic and more like a glorified un-set.
