The guy who played Harold at the beginning said that when he saw the movie and they had added sounds like he was actually dropping a load in the toilet he was shocked. Haha he said “I didn’t even wipe when I pulled up my pants and those noises made it sound like I needed to” 😂
even though Friday the 13th part 3 is when Jason first start wearing his Iconic Hockey mask but actually in the slasher classic called "Alone in the Dark" starring Jack Palance, Martin Landau, Donald Pleasence... one of the killers in the movie steals a hockey mask from a store during a town blackout...I highly recommend this insane classic
When I first bought this movie on Blu-ray it included 2 versions of the film and a pack of 3D glasses! Also the first 4 films was remastered a year or 2 ago
I had the pleasure of seeing this at the theater in 3D, back in the day. I still love it, even in 2D. The first four Fridays are better movies than the later sequels. Classics of horror, i don't care what any fake critic says. Good shit.
Judging by the license plates, inspection stickers on the windshields, and the "NJ Lotto" sign on the general store, this movie takes place in NJ. However, this movie was filmed in California. The original Friday the 13th(1980) was filmed in NJ. Larry Zerner was cast as Shelly when the producers spotted him handing out fliers for a horror movie and asked him if he'd want to star in one himself. The original plan for the film involved Ginny (Amy Steel) from the previous film being confined to a psychiatric hospital. Suffering from the trauma inflicted on her during the ordeal with Jason, she eventually finds that, intent on revenge, he has tracked her down, and he begins to murder the staff and other patients at the hospital. Steel ultimately declined the offer to return to the series as she was busy with other projects but said she thinks she should have accepted. For Part 3, they moved production from Connecticut to California, where they could be closer to the Hollywood experts needed for a film attempting to revitalize 3D. They told the East Coast-based Steve Daskawicz that if he wanted to play Jason as he did for most of Part 2, he'd have to pay for his airfare out to California. He objected so the part was re-cast with Richard Brooker, a former English trapeze artist who could perform all of his own stunts and appear physically intimidating in stature. According to the book "Crystal Lake Memories," Chris' past encounter with Jason was initially intended to imply a sexual assault. The series was meant to conclude with this entry, and the writers wanted audiences to be pleased with Jason's demise, reasoning that if he were portrayed as a rapist, they would have no interest in seeing him come back. It was ultimately decided this was too dark a direction to take the character, and those elements were removed from the film. Although it appears sunny and warm, the film was shot during a January/February winter. Several night scenes were trimmed to conceal the actors' visible breath on screen. According to Larry Zerner in the documentary Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th, there was a scene in the original script where Vera and Shelly leave the country store to head back to the barn. This motorcycle gang terrorized them inside the store, supposed to chase them down the road. Shelley fires a corkscrew at them from a wine bottle he bought at the country store, causing them to crash. For unknown reasons, the scene was not shot. This film noticeably features an all-brunette cast except for Amy Steel's Ginny in the archive footage at the beginning.
No they aren't. Let's assume part 2 starts on Thurs the 12th. Ralph is killed and Paul doesn't get to bang Ginny "beware of bears". The rest of part 2 would be Friday the 13th in to Saturday the 14th with Ginny getting hauled off wondering "where's Paul?!?!" Part 3 picks up where 2 left off and ends on Sunday the 15th with Chris getting hauled off screaming in the cop car. Part 4 starts during crime scene clean up of part 3 but it is clearly night time on Sunday the 15th. Jason is taken to the morgue. We don't exactly know how long it took Jason to get from the morgue back to the Crystal Lake area but couldn't be any earlier than Monday the 16th and realistically Tuesday the 17th. The events of part 4 end 5 or 6 days after the start of part 2.
@@travzimmerman1340great observation! In fact part 4 alone happens over a 3 day period beginning with the evening after Chris defeated Jason which has us witness Jason revive in the morgue, kill Axel and the nurse, and escape. The next day begins with Trish and her mom jogging, the introduction of Tommy, the vacationers making their way to the rental home (bypassing the ill fated hitchhiker along the way) and arriving at night (when Tommy gets an eyeful thru his window lol. And the third day is when the vacationers meet the twins, Tommy and Trish meet Rob, the vacationers have their party that evening, and Jason begins his killing spree til only Tommy and Trish are left to fend him off.
We've lost another Jason actor this past weekend. Ted White (Part 4) passed away at 96 years old. We've already lost Richard Brooker (Part 3) so now there's two :(
Cool how Richard Brooker "Jason" is wearing the flannel shirt and overalls while walking around the clothesline of Harolds clothes and steals his green shirt and grey work pants lol.
@9:04 I love how the couple was smoking bongs in the back of the van, yet no smoke was coming out of the obviously open rear windows. Classic film flub moment. 😁
Whenever I hear you say Whiite Gold, it rhymes enough with “Mile Jones” that in my head I’m always like, WhiiteGold!! WHO? WhiiteGold!! WHO? WhiiteGold!! WHO? WHIITEGOOOOLD!!!
IMO it *is* more fun to watch it in 3D and with the lights off. Fun fact: at one time *Cheech & Chong* were supposed to have a crossover with Jason, kinda like the Abbot & Costello movies but it didn't go through.
When the Stuntmen wear the mask, they also wear a hood covering their head with the area around their face cutout. So they can wear the mask without any vision complications. No makeup until the mask is off.
I'm working on a channel, question what about copyright issues when you watch these movies do you need a special license..and what software you use to place your video in the video ...first you record yourself on a video recorder chatting then while watching the movie you keep the video recorder on you right then you edit together??
RIP Richard Brooker, who played Jason Voorhees in this movie.
Also....Gloria Charles (Fox) and the actor who played Harold.
Ye, he told me that life is all in the sunset . Richard was brilliant and very protective for anyone around him.
The guy who played Harold at the beginning said that when he saw the movie and they had added sounds like he was actually dropping a load in the toilet he was shocked. Haha he said “I didn’t even wipe when I pulled up my pants and those noises made it sound like I needed to” 😂

RIP to the actor who played Harold.
@@snoopersgonnasnoop do you have to skip some of the part

To me Friday the 13th part 3 is the best out of the first three films. 👍🎥🍿
The composer that did the music was influenced by Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho
You can definitely hear in the music. Love Psycho! One of my favorite scores in horror.
When I first bought this movie on Blu-ray it included 2 versions of the film and a pack of 3D glasses! Also the first 4 films was remastered a year or 2 ago
I know part3 2b underate but i love this the soundtrack everytink
Jason is deceptively smart 😂😂. Cutting power off in houses before his killings and sabotage cars from being used etc . Dude something else !
Im bk again! Jj is jj! I love it also fri 13th was when i was born most definately my favorite franchise

Part 2, 3 and 4 are set a day apart. So Part 3 is actually Saturday the 14th and Part 4 is Sunday the 15th
So what?

You right about the Batman 89 15:32
I liked the actors in this one. They use soap opera actors for all the Friday the 13th movies.

Jason's a straight up thief, stealing Harold's shirt and pants.
Glad someone else caught that too
@@travzimmerman1340 I meant to put lol at the end. I mean it's obvious Jason took them. I was referring to him stealing lol
I never caught that.
I jus love friday filmz100%
Shelly was a prankster!
This movie is definitely one of my favorites aside from part 6. Yall gotta give 2Pac his props for the role he played in this movie😂😂😂

Been watching your horror reactions all night and thus has to be the funniest🤣😭
My first time watching it too
This my fave F13th movie. Where he tightens up his look with the iconic hockey mask.
"I want to know the movie u from"!!!...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣...That's awesome hilarious comment,man!...😂😂😉😉
R.I.P. Richard Brooker "Jason".
Larry Zerner actually returned to voice Shelly in Friday the 13th video game.
My favorite one out of the originals. Great reaction!
Part 4 is great and so is part 6! Most of the time I hold 6 higher than 4 but only by a smidge lol
Part 2 is better than both
Jason gets a strength boost beginning in Part 3.
3D reactions!

2-4 is a trilogy
No, it isn't. The only thing remotely close to a trilogy in this series is 4, 5, 6 due to Tommy.

Poor guy died with mud butt lol.
Have you ever notice that jason right eye is broken

The scariest face reveal was part 4
Friday 13th is saga trilogies
1-3 is often the Original trilogy
4-6 is often called the Tommy Jarvus trilogy
6-8 the Zombie trilogy
6 wouldn't be part of two trilogies 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The only thing remotely close to being considered a trilogy would be 4, 5, and 6
The original trilogy is the best. Tommy Jarvus is next.
