It really surprised me how much it concentrated on teenage angst and the problems kids faced, it also got really dark and comical very quickly which is always nice to see in any film to tv
There are two scenes that I like most in this entire series, one of which is Sid went to a night club after his dad's death (with Crystal Castle playing on the stage) and he hugged Tony (crying) in the crowd; another one is this scene above. I love Sid so much, he's definitely my favorite character in Skins. We all have been where Sid has been, that's probably why I cry so much everytime I see these scenes.
This was the first show that I trully conected on a emotional level. It broke me in so many ways and opened my mind to a lot of emotions. I will forever cherish this amazing show

I'm 29 now, and remember watching this back in 2007 when it first aired. I remember how amazing it was being the same age as the characters, going to college, and the parties (not quite as wild but certainly inspired by the show nonetheless). I've recently re-watched the first series thanks to Netflix, and it's just brilliant. So much nostalgia. And this moment....I remember watching it first time around and thinking WTF, but at the same time thinking....this is incredible. It's a teen drama/comedy about kids my age and they just randomly broke the fourth wall and started singing Cat Stevens! Even the (apparently) dead guy!
Skins has had such a huge effect on me. This scene was heart wrenching - I'll never forget it. I've been re-watching this series for over 3 years and truly, it never gets old.
Dan Crowhurst I think he was a comedian on the early side of his career, but I am not shure. He was with a lot of comedians on that time period though.
I can't believe Mike Bailey didn't break through like Nicholas Hoult and Dev Patel. I know Hoult had that one child actor role alongside Hugh Grant, but still. He nailed that role. He was a role model for me growing up. Life isn't fair sometimes I guess
When I first started watching this scene, I was just like, "this is fucking weird" - but somehow, by the end of it, I was completely in love with both it and the show. It was just the perfect way to end the series, somehow.
I just started this series a few days ago on Netflix. I finished season 2 today and my heart is so broken. I was so attached to the cast specially Sid. I loved him so much. Such a relatable character. And Cassie and everything she went through 💔💔💔 I am in tears!

When I first started watching this scene, I was just like, "this is fucking weird" - but somehow, by the end of it, I was completely in love with both it and the show. It was just the perfect way to end the series, somehow.

I just started this series a few days ago on Netflix. I finished season 2 today and my heart is so broken. I was so attached to the cast specially Sid. I loved him so much. Such a relatable character. And Cassie and everything she went through 💔💔💔 I am in tears!
