I read that he was actually made up in green because it looked the right degree of pallid in black and white;. This may just be about "Son Of" though. I've seen color stills from the movie that show his makeup as green.
I'm a huge fan of this line and Neca has outdone themselves with the whole line imho. I have mostly been collecting the black and white versions but do have a couple of color versions which really look great as well, great video.
I’m a huge fan of this line from Neca. I have every figure and accessory and waiting for the Creature to be released. Neca simply has knocked it out of the park with the Universal licensed products. The Remco styled glow-in-the-dark carded monsters are also very cool. Thanks for the detailed build you did here. I’m a MIB kinda collector so I haven’t assembled my table set. Looks amazing. I enjoyed this video and the background music was cool too. 😊
Thanks so much for the support and tuning in! We have enjoyed these figures very much and hope they release some more accessories for this line. Some more lab equipment would be nice.
I’m on the UK and getting hold of these figures will cost around £40 it’s a shame that the accessory set retails at around £50 This is also the same with Dracula and The Mummy. Great figures though. Now on a mission to collect the black & white versions of them.
I wish they would launch the B&W and color versions at the same time it seems like they have such a long delay between the two releases. Thanks for watching!
So something I just found out the other day when noticing the Creature (in those flat soled webbed feet) is the same height as Frankenstein. So I didn't know if they exaggerated the Creature's height or what. Turns out Boris Karloff was only 5 '11" 😳. I mean yeah, the giant lifts on the boots are a well-known thing, but I still thought he was certainly a bit over 6'. Simple things like putting an undersized jacket with short sleeves hide the fact their arms aren't proportioned with the platform boot height...and of course angles angles angles. I mean you know this is the same dude as the Mummy, but we forget Boris didn't grow a foot to play Frankenstein's monster. It's like the Myers/Voorhees effect, where the newer actors playing the part get bigger and bigger...except de Niro, but I don't really count that one lol.
Been watching Karloff narrating that old show Thriller lately. It's kind of like old Alfred Hitchcock presents. Now an Alfred Hitchcock figure would go great with all these horror figures and a Rod Serling would be awesome with a black and white broken window backdrop. Thanks for watching!

Trying to get the table pegs into the base was near impossible.
And the metal ball part on the bottom broke
That was a bit of a pain in the butt. Thanks for watching!

You could check out dollhouse accessories for vials of chemicals, or ask Party Poison about Goth jewelry accessories. Some of those might work!
Great Idea! Thanks to one of our most loyal viewers!
