Hi Nestor, really appreciate you making a video of my question. You have a great way of explaining it in simple terms. I have another question, which I thought would have been easy to solve, but I have my head against the wall! I have a column with the average time worked by an agent. I am trying to get a total/sum of this average! Did not think it would be hard or I am plain stupid! Appreciate it if you could provide some pearls of wisdom! Thanks a ton in advance
Hasra, Thanks for your feedback. For these types of calculations, you might want to use measures. This tutorial might help. th-cam.com/video/9IdFq2aPxmY/w-d-xo.html
Nice video; really helped. I still have one doubt: I need to divide the value to split among the days, wich time dax or transformation in power query should I use like to divide the total revenue by the number of days and then create a line for each recurrence. Like: USD 100/ 4 days, is USD 25/ day, how can I automatically generate starting from current information as 4/jan/2023 (end date) with 100 USD to 1/jan/2023 with USD 25, 2/jan/2023 with USD 25, 3/jan/2023 with USD 25 and 4/jan/2023 with USD 25 ?
Hi Nestor, I used datediff for one of my requirements, where I have to show hrs difference But I have to show like 1:30, 1:16 mins like this instead of showing like 1 hr, 2 hrs help me with this pls
Hi Sir, is it possible to replicate same excel formula in powerBI, since i am not meeting exact results in powerBI "=DATEDIF(C5,D5,"y") & " Years " &DATEDIF(C5,D5,"ym") & " Months ", When i use same formula in PowerBI i am not getting profer results and even unable to figure it out in powerBI dax, please help me
Jorge, Thanks for stopping by. Do you mean the different between the rows from two different columns within the same table? If so, you can still use the DATEDIFF function. You can create a calculated column. I hope that helps! Here is the syntax for reference: DATEDIFF(, , )
Nester, Could you please make a video to change all the calculation in a dashboard from month to date to year to date by the help of a filter in the dashboard.
Thank you Nestor, this was easy to follow along as you explained each step.
Glad to hear that. Cheers!
Have you used the DATEDIFF function before? Leave your comments below. Also, here is the content. Enjoy!

@@NestorAdrianzen hi how about if I want to get the difference of days in the same column?
Nester,
Could you please make a video to change all the calculation in a dashboard from month to date to year to date by the help of a filter in the dashboard.
I'll add this to my list. I think you are talking about dynamic Power BI reports.
