I'm not a huge matte foundation fan, but since moving to the south, I have definitely found myself reaching for a soft matte foundation from time to time. Babydoll skin is the perfect way to describe how smooth it looks! Beautiful 😍.

I would LOVE to see a comparison to the Tom Ford. I have samples of both right now and I prefer the Nars. I agree that the Tom Ford is a more natural looking foundation, but as someone with oily skin, the Nars wears much better throughout the day. The TF looks makeupy at the end of a work day, while the Nars holds up from 5am to 5pm plus through a workout with a mask on. But I have the Tom Ford on now, and holy cow, it looks flawless. I just wish it looked so good at the end of the day.

I love the Matt foundation it’s very comfortable, I usually do not buy Matt. I have mature normal to dry skin. It’s full coverage and you need very little. I do find I have to color correct before applying.
I got a sample of Tahoe which is a bit too light so I mix a drop in with my darker more dewy foundations to create the perfect shade and formula. Personally, it was too matte for me but it's been hot here in CA and I needed just a bit more staying power, so mixing a drop in is perfect! Thanks for a great review Kelsee!
This 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 makeup reminded me of Aretha Franklin for some reason. We need a tutorial on it. I am impressed! It held very well on you. Every review I saw for combination skin it was pretty good. The reviews I saw for oily skins were mixed though. I am somewhere between Syracuse (lighter) and Tahoe (darker) in their foundations. I need something golden olive between them 😟😟. Nowadays I mix ADLW Syracuse with SG in Tahoe to get my shade and a good finish.

Tahoe is my color as well and I love the soft matte. I tried the new light reflecting and hated it.
