The house is beautiful, but the lot is small. In America, the lot is usually larger than the living space. It would be perfect, if I could build this House on double the size of the front, side and back yard, with a perimeter wall or fence, that mark the boundary of the property. These small-house designs from the Philippines on this and other channels can be quite nice, but why are they generally surrounded by so little land? They barely have yards at all, perhaps enough room for a terrace. Is this the general practice in the Philippines?

I don't think so. Wag masyado i put down sariling bansa. Anywhere in the world may magnanakaw hindi lahat ng neighborhood gaya ng isip mo. If you plan to build a house as nice as this you would have thought about investing in safety features kasi for sure may budget ka.
@@jayoppie3021 ask any architect here and he will suggest putting a fence or window bars especially beside the road like that. Not being negative, just being realistic. Not putting our country down, wag mashadong defensive and feeling patriotic. Nothing to do with patriotism, just common sense. Never mentioned that it's only applicable here also. And yes, you mentioned safety features? Like I said, fence and/or window bars. You just repeated what I said in agreement.
