No offense, but the woman doing her makeup has no idea what she’s doing when it comes to apply make up on someone
I can't help but appreciate how everyone keeps saying "Please take care of me" and then the response of "Please take care of me too." That is so wonderful, the gold standard for how we should treat each other!
Is THAT how that turn of phrase is meant to be understood? Oh jeeze, I kept thinking they meant like "oh I'm performing your salon service today, I'll do a good job ('take care of you') so please tip me well ('take care of me too'). I'm American where tipping for these kinds of services is normal and expected (not sure if that's true in Japan, too). I'm a pet stylist and I've had many clients say "oh I'll take care of you today" meaning they will tip well. Never even occurred to me it could be meant another way here! 😄
I’ve lived in several countries and hands down Japanese people are on another level when it comes to respect.

I am not sure that what this phase really means. It is subtitled “please give me kindness” in Thai. Japaneses usually say this phase when they meet each other first time, for instance employee says it to employer, daughter/son in law says it to future parents in law, or new employee says it to his coworkers. I believe it isn’t about tip or service but it’s about kind hearted.
I asked a friend, who is good at English and knows some Japanese. He said I shouldn’t translate this phase directly. I should consider the situation. For example, it could mean I look forward to working with you, please keep me in mind, please look after me, please take care of me, I look forward to your guidance, please look fairly upon us, or nice to meet you.

@@JTD472 It's true though that Japanese has a gentler, rounder sound than other languages. You can compare it to a language like German or Russian and hear the difference. English also has much harsher sounds than Japanese. I like Japanese rock but Japanese rap and metal aren't so good and I think it's purely to do with the softer sounds and diction.
They way the makeup artist in the first video applies the makeup is so delicate and so gentle. I’d definitely be asleep within the first two minutes 😌

All these looks were very pretty but my favorite one was when you had on the deep red turtleneck and your hair was in a loose French braid! That color is gorgeous on you. You are a natural beauty anyhow but I think it would be fun to sometimes get makeup done professionally.

I love these videos, so relaxing, at the same time the esthetician/makeup artist in me cringed at the panoramic view of dirty brushes and shuddered at the use of the mascara wand and putting it back in the tube! Love watching the videos, even if I sometimes question the hygiene of the estheticians and makeup artists!

I love how the MUA said brows should be one to two times lighter than your hair, then proceeded to put on a color that I would wear with my blonde hair 😆😆 still a beautiful look to!
Shouldn’t eyebrows actually be a shade darker than your natural hair? This “mua” obviously isn’t a professionally trained one but for ASMR, she’s amazing!

The last video salon space was so gorgeous looks so high up like you are in the clouds. The PINK dress color is so glorious on you. And your earrings I am saving up to get they are so pretty. The hands of the makeup artist are so attractive as well and her voice. I noticed that none of the Japanese salons have music playing. Is that due to your filming or that they don’t have “background” music? I never have been to an American salon /beauty spa that doesn’t have music. The QUIET is what makes this so transfixing as well. ❤️
