I kinda love this movie but there's no denying their criticisms.. specifically the slow mo explosions..the fact they have no reason to take the job which the screenwriter could've spent 5 more minutes to give them a good reason to do the job, and probably the worse thing about the movie is T.I. trying Wayyyy too hard to be..well..Hard...T.I. was ok in ATL but after seeing him in this movie i almost didn't want to ever see him in a movie again or hell it was so bad i barely even wanted to even hear his music anymore..overall though as cliche and unoriginal as this movie is i still like it enough to give it a Matinee..Hayden Christensen and Paul Walker are far from the greatest actors but i love those guys in pretty much everything I've seen them in..Idris Elba is one of my all time favorite actors and i like Michael Ealy and Zoe Saldaña in most everything I've seen them in as well..Chris Brown still deserves his ass beat hard x10 for what he did to Rihanna but he was likable enough as was Matt Dillon and Jay Hernandez so yeah it's a Matinee maybe even High Matinee for me..this is also one of my all time favorite reviews from the spill crew
had to search to see if they reviewed this movie. far from the worst BUT agreed with Korey was a stupid Rental. Know the flaws but was entertained while watching it at home with a girl not big into movies but don't care cause I'm into entertaining something else.
TI looked like a salesman. and hate zoe zaldana don't like her at all. why do they keep giving her jobs! she ain't that good. hayden was great. looks so different. but i liked it overall, the movie. i thought i didn't care about the charcters but when they shot hayden's charcter it was just a heartache. i was like," why 'd he have to be the one to die?" but i wanted to know what happens to them. and there was a bit of realistic touch to it. i'd actually recommend it.
Ironically, TI plays one of the comic relief sidekicks in a movie with a mysterious villain called Ghost.
best review I've heard in my life
Meanwhile, I'm remembering that, of all people, Stephen King liked this movie (and The Happening, too). :P
