Inadvertently you misguided on foreign Language skillset because with advent of AI, cross language translation will be passee. IMHO purpose of education is to equip one with uncertain future and I believe the younger generation will adapt it seamlessly. So needless to worry about future generation ..its the present generation who find inertia in learning new technologies.

Don't invest here, invest in US companies. All AI leaders are in US, be it Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Tesla, Meta, etc. or small ones like Palantir.
Note that Tesla is not just car manufacturer, it is heavily investing in autonomous driving which requires AI.
