ABYSS - Enormous Funnel Slide at Vana Nava Water Jungle

This is the Abyss water slide at Vana Nava Water Jungle in Hua Hin, Thailand. The giant round-raft ride features a so-called 'Abyss' funnel element, making guests swing from left to right several times. Since this was the first Abyss ride we have ridden, we expected the it to be a lot more intense - the slide is far less thrilling than a ProSlide Tornado.

Dies ist die Wasserrutsche "Abyss" im Vana Nava Water Jungle in Hua Hin, Thailand. Die gigantische Rundbootrutsche besitzt einen sogenannten "Abyss"-Kegel, in welchem man mehrmals von links nach rechts schwingt. Da dies die erste Abyss-Rutsche war, die wir bis dahin ausprobiert hatten, hatten wir die Rutsche deutlich intensiver erwartet - sie ist deutlich weniger spannend als beispielsweise ein ProSlide Tornado.

The WhiteWater funnels are way better than ProSlide’s!! Way more thrilling. Though, my favorite waterslide Waterfun products’ Sidewinder and Stealth

Sad to say it, but that's alot of wasted potential and fiberglass there. Should have used more agile tubes (cloverleaf) which move well on slippery uphill surfaces and improved the shaping

I’ve noticed that whitewater slides with the exception of their first gen looping slides are less intense than proslide

I haven't ever rode a whitewater ride, but yes Polin's and Proslide rides
Both are excellent, but for general, proslide's rides are funnier than scarier.

So this is White Water West's version of a Tornado slide. I honestly thought it was a Polin version based on how similar (and less thrilling than ProSlide) the two look like.

Polin's version has more of an oval-shaped funnel, unlike WhiteWater's triangular one, and the circular ones used by other manufacturers.

What I like about this ride is the two walls are a lot steeper than a standard tornado slide

Looks much better than a pro slide tornado. Could use clover rafts instead, and it would be twice as good! The walls are steeper, and riders seem to go higher. Plus you rock back and forth more. Maybe this particular slide isn’t as good.

Wordt er altijd bepaald door de waterparken hoe vaak jullie met de camera van de slides mogen? Omdat meeste video's 2 onrides bevatten, en deze bv. maar 1.
