Beautiful makes and beautiful yarns! Don't worry about putting out videos all the time, people who really enjoy your content will always be patient. Life happens.
Thank you so much. It does make me feel guilty, and I like making them but I have to accept that life happens and other things will take precedence. I am so happy with all the yarn I purchased. It’s all so pretty.
Yes, putting things in the freezer is a great way to kill bacteria and lots of other unpleasant things like bugs, etc. My yarn stash is quite large. At this point I really want to reorganize all of it in one place. My main yarn storage is a large closet. However, the closet is also home to all the games and crafting/ school supplies for the entire family. I'm thinking it might be easier to organize it all once all 4 kids are back in school. Less interruptions. 🧶
It’s awful when I organizing yarn and interruptions happen. They are inevitable, but still put a damper on my organizing flow. I had organized all my yarn by size, but it was in to many boxes taking up a whole closet. So I bought a huge plastic bin and put it all in there. It was also a great way for me to clean out my stash a bit and donate more yarn ☺️
Love all of your socks, I love knitting socks too ❤ I am partly through a "yarn cull" I had to have a very ruthless destash when we moved into a smaller home and I lost my crafting room. I try to only buy what I need now, but like you I have to watch the "pennies" although I have to confess to ordering some sock yarn that was half price today 😂 I am telling myself that's ok because it was a fabulous price and I only ordered 2 balls whereas "old" me would have gone crazy and bought every colourway! I still have a huge storage bag full to take to the charity shop. I hope your summer weather improves soon, I am in the UK, so we are being blessed with lovely warm, sometimes hot days. ❤
When we moved to Vermont I had to let go of a lot of yarn. I had a yard sale and sold a whole bin to someone I knew was going to love it! Now I am taking yarn to my local library where there is a knitting/crafting group. I used to be a part of it but just couldn’t manage with my girls schedule and my work schedule. But I still enjoy giving them yarn. I was a bit bad and purchased one of Knit Picks socks yarn. It was on clearance, and I am already using a ball, but I probably didn’t need 10 🫣🫣😬 Mother Nature cannot decide what weather to give us, so we are alternating between hot and cool with lots of thunderstorms. Thankfully everyone in my house is comfortable with thunderstorms and we don’t have a problem not having the tv on! We have lot power three days in a row now. I hope you continue to have a lovely summer 😊😊
