Emotional awareness?? Hahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahaha He’s just highly emotional, that’s it. Why did you feel the need to fancy that up? 😂😂😂
it took young-mi dying for hyun-ju to reconsider it took yong-sik getting dragged away from his mom to realize the gravity of his previous decision it took se-mi hating min-su for min-su to finally get a mind of his own they needed to be checked the hard way before they made their right choices
Which is sadly real. Sadly you need suffering or a like shocking event to stop using people sometimes. It's why when someone dies, you rethink all your actions and realize what matters.
Well, unlike most others, Unnie/120's desperate situation came from both inner turmoil and consequently unfair treatment, so one bout of albeit mortal crying from a friend isn't the same as likely crying oneself to sleep, every night, not at "home".
One thing that I really like about the frontman is that he always asks Gi-hun if he's sure before making a decision. Meaning that the consequences would hit gi-hun mentally harder.
This episode also shows how having the vote repeatedly solidifies them into these two factions. Like, season 1 felt more like each one for himself, and now each for their side. And every conflict between individuals is also one between X and O. In s1 there were night fights, people attacking people, but here in the bathroom it's a brawl between two sides.
It's also about manipulation of group-manifestions. The voting at the end does it (= X and O stickers on their jackets) but also this game. You never know if you should keep or loose your ties of "friendship" as the different number makes it harder to keep those ties which is the whole purpose on this game. In-ho "keeps" Gi-hun friend because with him he has the trust of Gi-hun - but also makes him the seeker of his dark secret (and could possible blackmail him)
Gi Hun's whole belief is believing everyone can be good and the best of them. And its the entire philosophy that GiHun fought for, and the Frontman took advantage of that. He knows very well that 456 would never suspect him cuz 456 is a genuiene good person who believes people are capable of being good. 001 is in the games cuz he wants to be in a moral battle and to prove his own idea is right against GiHun
@@IAmThatBit--Which is why In Ho smirks a bit, because it shows even Gi hun who believes in the good of people and saving everyone, is willing to sacrifice a few for the greater good

I don’t think Minsu misread the hand situation at all. She literally said “Come with me” and held out her hand for him to take. He threw scissors so it looked like he won to the other two and they’d take him. It was self preservation on his part because there’s no guarantee him and the girl would have found a third, but it was still a betrayal regardless which is why he looked guilty.

3:53 the way they all knew who to leave had me laughing. They for real looked at her and left. Also R.I.P. to Young Mi (095) she I really wanted to leave after the first game but at least she got to meet Myun Ju (120), she was an older sister to her😢

And for Geum-Ja to have such a close call just minutes prior - too fucking much 😭 At this rate, I’m gonna need serious emotional support for whatever they’re planning for ep 3x06 😭
Finally got the courage to finish season 2 and holy shingles, the Mingle game was undoubtedly the most nerve-wracking game yet 💀 The way it switches from a cheery children's song to PURE CHAOS was so stressful to watch, I could barely breathe. RIP Young-mi 😭 I think Min-su intentionally betrayed Se-mi since she even said out loud "come with me." Also good catch on the kimbap and the fork being an obvious setup for them to have the bedtime massacre like last season. You either eat kimbap with your fingers or chopsticks. It was also like a parallel to when Gi-hun, Sangwoo, and Saebyuk were left with knives after their fancy steak dinner.
Loved it! Your emotions. Yeah about the girl, Young-mi. Damn that is emotional. Hyun-jo knows how scared she is, wanting to go home. And definitely, was treated a woman. Practically an older sister. It hurts. Will subscribe now my dude
Really amazing episode, maybe for me the best so far just because every round and every decision was so gripping. By now we're so engrossed and rooting so heavily with them because this season was great in building up the characters and their relationship, so many likeable and even the douches are kinda funny that everything close gets tense and heartbreaking.
14:05 Bear in mind that Front man knew the number for this round was gonna be "two" (I mean he knows the number for ALL rounds, he's the Front man he knows everything), and he had already made up his mind to go with Jun-bae, aka Gihun's best friend. He acted fast and grabbed Jun-bae's hand in a second, it wasn't a sudden decision. When I first watched this ep, I was confused, I was like, "But why not with Gihun tho? Why did you go with his friend instead?" but I found an answer for this and I think you'll find it too once you finish the series.
I think people also forget that Gi-Hun is an idiot. Throughout all of season one he was just a very stupid guy who was the right mix of lucky, determined and charming. Not you, but some people see he's rich and has a gun range now in the hotel he owns and assumes he suddenly got way smarter and capable of taking down this mega-fort filled with soldiers and people with far more information and money available to them, but he's not an intelligent guy and never has been
People think suffering makes one smarter, it’s in human nature to want those who suffer to win, but in reality that never happens, suffering makes you mature, maturity does nothing to you really, like how did Gi-hun not notice his FRIEND was there, a mother and a son, a woman and her “boyfriend”, two friends from the pub, did he think all of this was coincidence? He was dumb for that and that’s just how he is
@@rimaaouadi9092I don’t think that makes him dumb; this line of thinking directly implies he’s the same man as the first season and he’s clearly not. You can’t expect someone that psychologically damaged to always make inherently smart decisions, especially when you’re an audience member who has all of the information
Why did it have to be young-mi... they chose to end the most precious innocent character just like they did with ali.. Anyways, this is the best episode of the show, first and second season. Really intense episode Intense and emotional first half and intense action second half
Whats interesting is in episode 2 when they voted 001 had the tie breaking point so he chooses O to make everyone stay. With the vote in this episode the tie breaking point actually fell with the lady. 001 simply made it into a tie on purpose. Whichever the lady chose X or O, 001 would have chosen the opposite. The intention is to create conflict with the group and make then stay longer
If I remember correctly they mentioned in season one the tunnels are set up with bombs and only certain divers knew where they were and they also had a captain who would pick up and deliver the body I wonder if it’s the same captain
The main group of protagonists left at the end of the second season is the most important storyline of this game, and will be fully presented in the third season. In the third season, all Squid game fans will see the mother-son team playing double-versus-double. In the claw machine competition, there was a scene of life and death due to losing to the opponent. Mother dies and son lives.
Even as a kid when you play the mingle game. Its chaotic and hectic as eff and I find the mother and son interesting. Would he kill or hurt someone to win? What she yelled at in defense of her son might come back to bite her...maybe
The mother & son team reminds me of the squid game reality show where there was a mother and son that stuck together as much as possible and the mom was a motherly figure to other people as well.
2:38 i think she saw the future where gi hun sacrifice himself to help pregnant woman.. or he survived and pregnant woman not and take care the baby.. maybe.. 5:43 i already cry at this part. that hint of young-mi fate... she curse her or saw young-mi death 😭😭😭 16:08 this part i think she just mumbling nonsense..😅 but the way she smile kind of scary just like she smile toward young-mi before. she did mention they will die and stare each others to the end..omg i dont want son and mom gone..😭😭😭 and hyun-ju too.. pls..🤧🤧🤧

As happy as I am that Gi-Hun and the front man came in clutch to save the old lady I feel like from a narrative stand point she should have died as her son would live with the guilt that his choice to play one more game got her killed
I don’t quite get why the older lady painted it as though her son abandoned her. She could’ve just told them that he got dragged away and into a door. Because…that’s what happened. Sure, he could’ve fought harder to stay with her, but still.
As T.O.P's fan, I start to cry in 26:20 because he also tried to do that due to depression triggered by the K-Netz and survive. Thanos character is a satire related to what happened to the actor. When the vote resulting in a tie, I suspected it's already planned by the frontman to make the contestants kill each other. Then I saw the glass bottle & the silverware fork, I'm 100% sure it is planned. Then Thanos got forked 🥲 Minsu not misunderstood the girl's hand. She clearly said to him "come with me" and held out her hand to him, clearly she doesn't want to play and he decided to let out a scissor. Minsu betrayed her.
By itself no, but the two times Gi-hun has played this game, out of 456 players, the 001 player had a name that matched the number is an wild coincidence
it seems you heard from somewhere that "Il-nam" in Korean supposedly means "number one man" or something like that. While it's not entirely nonsensical, it feels like a really forced interpretation. Honestly, I can guarantee that not a single Korean would associate the name "Il-nam" with "number one man." That said, it is definitely suspicious that someone named "Young-il" ended up being number 001.
That was shared by supposed Korean's on my season one videos and it's all over the trivia for the show. I remember people saying the twist was obvious for some because of it but that's just what I've been told and still what everything about season one says when you look online from articles to videos about the show. Obviously I can't verify that myself but that's just what I'm going off of.
Has anybody guessed why in this episode frontman helped the friend of gi hun to survive? 😂 he really didnt care anybodys life so why he helped exactly him ?
Cuz Gihun is closest to him. Cuz of that, what Frontman did at the end of the final ep had more impact if you know what I mean. He had to keep him alive for that plan
@@CJesss exactly he wanted him to keep alive to hurt gi hun because he knew gi hun didnt care if he will die but he would care his friend amd it was the best way to hurt him more then his own death🫡
unfortunately in the next round gi hun chose the lottery over bread, he could have chosen bread to attack the other side so he could win the votes to go home, but he chose the lottery by attacking the frontman and the pink guard
i don't get why the mom lied and said the son went to find a third and didnt come back when he tried his hardest to fight those two dudes, and then she got mad when dude questioned her lie i was so confused. edit: some of yall rather didnt read my comment or didnt read what she said in the show, i am saying why did she lie and say he basically left her? because that obviously looks worse then what actually happened, getting dragged away by two grown ass men isnt something to be ashamed of so she didnt need to lie
@@ifuckdudesverynice She said he left to find someone then got lost, like maybe he tried to find her but couldn’t and time just ran up so he got into any room
The mom lied bcus she wanted to protect his image. She didn't want ppl to see him as "the bad son who left his mother alone to save himself". She's also in shock over what just happened. So she tried quickly to find a justification about that.
When thanos comes out n hits em with the "WELCOME BACK FRIENDS!" after damn near over 100 ppl die!! I loled...another thing i wanna point out is if u arent korean or cannot speak the language, ur gonna miss some of the smaller vocal cadences n things that add to a characters personality..for example the crypto kid, everytime thanos tried to berate him about owing him money ect, the way crypro kid talks back to thanos is SOOOO dismissive and disrespectful lol..i kno u can pick up on some of it since its obvious in his dialogue, but the way he speaks, replies and responds to thanos and his little lackey, its just soo dissmissive and disrespectful...u can see it really come out in bathroom when he says "WHY THE FUCK would i pay u back if ur dead!?!"lol.. he had that same energy damn near everytime they spoke.. when thanos takes his his kimbop and shoves it in his mouth, he did that because of crypto boys disrespectful careless tone..the subtitles alot of the times mis translates in a way where its technically correct, but isnt quite right in terms inflection. In that kimbop scene the when crypto is responding to thanos berating the subtitle said something like "ok i understand, can u leave so i can eat?" When in reality it should have been more like "ALRIGHT BRO I FUCKING HEAR YOU!!!, can u fuck off now?? I'm tryna eat bro"..lol thats the tone that the character was portraying but the subtitles made him appear meeker and its only because im sure whoever translates probably speaks english as a 2nd language and doesn't quite understand some of the more hidden nuances and inflections in the english language ESPECIALLY in text form, because its always difficult to properly get across emotions in a text format..
Trying to find certain scenes can be helpful. It's like you guys avoid the REAL scenes, and give the sh*tty scenes. Patreon suuuuure. The fact we have to pay for full reaction.
No it was totally the sons fault, he literally turned around and ran to the room, thats why he was apologizing. He could have punched them and got away. Horrible son, absolute disgrace.

“Young” and “il” each means zero and one, but when they are out together, “Young-il” is just a common korean name. It’s not suspicious at all
By itself no, but the two times Gi-hun has played this game, out of 456 players, the 001 player had a name that matched the number is an wild coincidence
it seems you heard from somewhere that "Il-nam" in Korean supposedly means "number one man" or something like that.
Why don’t you have squid game eps in a playlist lmao I’m having
Such a hard time finding your season 1 reaction xD
Oh wait wtf you do, it just wasn’t showing it to me ? I’m So confused lmao
Happy New Year! GOD LOVES YOU ALWAYS NO MATTER WHAT! ✝️
LFG !!!
🙆🏻♂️🙅🏻♂️🙆🏻♂️🙅🏻♂️
soo early wo
Once again, a 'Thanos' character is stealing the show😅
Has anybody guessed why in this episode frontman helped the friend of gi hun to survive? 😂 he really didnt care anybodys life so why he helped exactly him ?
probably cause that would help him stay in Gi-hun's good side
Cuz Gihun is closest to him. Cuz of that, what Frontman did at the end of the final ep had more impact if you know what I mean. He had to keep him alive for that plan
@@CJesss exactly he wanted him to keep alive to hurt gi hun because he knew gi hun didnt care if he will die but he would care his friend amd it was the best way to hurt him more then his own death🫡
have you watched the final ep? if you have you know why the frontman kept Jung bae alive till the very end.
He is in love with him
Damn 🥶
unfortunately in the next round gi hun chose the lottery over bread, he could have chosen bread to attack the other side so he could win the votes to go home, but he chose the lottery by attacking the frontman and the pink guard
I mean he went there to stop the game. that's what he was trying to do.
i don't get why the mom lied and said the son went to find a third and didnt come back when he tried his hardest to fight those two dudes, and then she got mad when dude questioned her lie i was so confused.
edit: some of yall rather didnt read my comment or didnt read what she said in the show, i am saying why did she lie and say he basically left her? because that obviously looks worse then what actually happened, getting dragged away by two grown ass men isnt something to be ashamed of so she didnt need to lie
it was her defending her son's image.
@ she said he left her and didnt come back, thats way worse then trying to fight back for her
@@ifuckdudesverynice
She said he left to find someone then got lost, like maybe he tried to find her but couldn’t and time just ran up so he got into any room
The mom lied bcus she wanted to protect his image. She didn't want ppl to see him as "the bad son who left his mother alone to save himself". She's also in shock over what just happened. So she tried quickly to find a justification about that.
@ but thats not what happened. She lied and said he left her when he didnt
Circle gang Let's go!!!
ep6
Please.. just press Pause when you explain the video because when you do comment / explain you used to cut off the video without pausing.
Nope can't do that
What the fart nugget…I’m still trying to recover from s1 deaths 😰 your reactions are always awesome 🔥
