I just came from a site ( about Rue the squirrel ) a young woman found hurt She nursed the animal for a while and was teaching the squirrel how to live on it's own as well . Today she came back from a 3 month leave and found that the squirrel was still there She did not contact the squirrel because she knew how to care It was simply a very wonderful experience After she had nursed this particular squirrel with markers of difference She actually could tell her squirrel was uncertain sometimes but making a life and thriving still I don't believe she hurt the squirrel because now it is thinking beyond the usual day a squirrel might encounter Just a bit more cautious might not be a bad thing

Thank you so much for sharing this wisdom with such clarity. I shall be returning to this talk often to remind myself of the important spiritual points you raise and vivid examples and analogies you use to help us understand better what the spiritual quest for inner peace, equanimity and knowing our oneness with the Ultimate Reality, entails. You have been, and continue to be, an important influence on my spiritual journey. Shanti!

Nameste, Jason. Once again, this is a great breakdown of how domesticated society and our ego influence our lives. To return to our original state of being (Brahman) (Atman) living from the eternal bliss within. Shanti!Shanti!Shanti! Thank you 🙏

Very profound and comprehensive video to help us dissolve the ego by realizing its illusory nature and allowing us to abide in our true Self as the Atman, as Brahman, as the Tao as the One which is beyond this physical realm. Thank you for this great video in sharing these highest teachings with us all. 🙏🏽

Hello Mr. Gregory, first time relative newcomer. I had to stop and comment at the end of this video, because of the nature of the effect. It seems, sir, that I have been attempting this (perhaps subconsciously) for the last couple of years. This was a very powerful watch for me personally. I really wanted to thank you for that. Be well, sir.

Bravo, Jason. Over the last few years, I've been lucky to follow your journey through these videos you post regularly. I'm just so grateful that you and Gayoung are in my world. This long form is great; I'm only halfway through it and think it'll be one I listen to/watch often. You're going deep, and it's done in your clear, decisive, and constructive voice. You are patient with all of us, and I hope you get all the love you deserve. All the best, -Martin

Thanks a million times 🙂 it's interesting, when you mentioned Ramana reading the news, cause I was thinking exactly about this. He was so pure and rare being, that nothing could touch him and affect him when reading newspaper. I can manage do it sometimes, but otherwise I still react and explode, but thankfully less. Thanks so much for your podcasts ❤ blessings

Hi Jason wonderful content. I know of a real Ramana living like a commoner in Coimbatore. Please get him on your channel. I met him accidentally during my spiritual quest and my journey ended there. He lives like one of us, works for his living, marri, with family and has no followers. But his wisdom removed all misconceptions about my seeking and he freed me from the burden of knowledge that I was carrying on my spiritual path. I can share his details but can't guarantee if he will accept. Anyways pls let me know and you can test this for yourself

While a child might have the freshness of 'original face' they're not clear and free as you're suggesting, this seems like a common misunderstanding actually, that children are pure and cleansed of karma.
Your premise is that society makes us who we are but Dharma says our own karmic mind makes us who we are. I don't think any Dharma school posits that conditioning comes from society, conditioning is karmic momentum in our own mind, so even a child has it. By suggesting parents, etc, condition us, you're reifying duality, taking the responsibility/power away from our minds, but also neglecting past life momentum. The child's body and desiring food, etc, are the sprouts of karmic seeds. The interactions a child has as they grow are their own karma, reflections, appearances of their mind according to their conditioned consciousness. You sit in that room right now because you put yourself there, not your parents. Society would be a collective karma and more of a facilitating factor. Original face is the basis (essence, nature) for all of this.
