Lewis making us Newcastle fans look insane. None/very few of us thought we’d even be close to the title, and you can’t really excuse the Liverpool loss since we had them at 10 men for over a half. Man City, fair enough they scored a great goal and we didn’t threaten enough but the Brighton game kinda does show Lewis’ point of Longstaff’s importance to the midfield. He does all the dirty work and hard running which allowed Bruno and Joelinton and Joe Willock (which is a big miss atm as well) to flourish last season, which is why his goal contribution numbers were lower than the rest. The midfield of Bruno, Joelinton and Longstaff was the driving force of the team last season, and the half season before that, so changing it up to fit in Tonali is gonna take time to adjust since he and Bruno aren’t willing runners and everyone can see that Joelinton is exhausted and has gotten injured every game he’s played so far, only to then be rushed back to fitness for the next game. We will be fine, but challenging for the title is on no one’s mind

Newcastle aren’t that good , Liverpool Tottenham and Chelsea just had bad seasons which opened the doors last season. They will revert to norm this season, a Europa league team if they are lucky
Don’t want to hear Newcastle have a hard start. Burnley had Man City(the treble winners) then villa(second in the league since emery took over) then Tottenham who are something else this season then got break with forest then another strong 3 teams after that

They need to be competing with teams like Liverpool and City, as well as United and Arsenal, less so Chelsea now, but obviously Brighton are coming into the fore. They did well against Villa, I’ll give them that, but they haven’t really got going to be honest
There’s not a chance we win the league and there never was, he’s absolutely mental. Doesn’t mean we can’t have a great season. Think we got the same points out of the same fixtures last season.
Who thought Newcastle were challenging for a title. 😂 Most people knew they'd struggle getting back into Europe nevermind CL and especially a title.
If you want to be a top 4 team or title challenging team you have to beat them teams you can't lose every single game when a team is near or better than u
As a Newcastle fan, the goal wasn’t to win the title, the goal was to keep our ucl spot
Why would our target be competing for the title? Come on its probably reasonable to say we’re competing for top 6
Teams like West Ham and Brentford will still beat Newcastle in the coming weeks and midweek champions league games will kill them.
Nah Lewis isn't real. "You guys are looking for anyway to put down Newcastle" after saying the reason they're losing is because they have no Sean Longstaff. They don't need to look for a way to put down Newcastle they just show you the table they're already down.
"momentum is essential" "Brighton had just lost massively it was the worst time to play them" this bloke
This is a weekly clip at this rate 😂
Fuck the tough start to the season. Everyone plays the same teams the whole season 🤣🤣🤣
I don't know how anyone can listen to these guys talking in circles?!🤷♂️ And someone needs to tell this chap. That missing chances isn't part of playing well.🤦♂️
Newcastle made top 4 last season because the other teams didn't perform well ,they were good but not special
newcastle will get 6th or 7th this season
Liverpool had Chelsea Newcastle villa ok Newcastle had wity but as a Liverpool fan city are nowhere near their best at the start of seasons they've struggled in large parts of games except for Newcastle there also missing key players
even as a newcastle fan lewis is talking utter shite, against brighton we were shocking, liverpool howe made the wrong changes and its embarrasing to lose to ten men in final minutes of a game. Our window wasnt as good as people made out we needed a LB who could replace burn, a proper CDM a 10 and a winger we bought barnes but hes not even starting over miggy whos been shite.
Newcastle aren’t that good , Liverpool Tottenham and Chelsea just had bad seasons which opened the doors last season. They will revert to norm this season, a Europa league team if they are lucky
Nobody apart from lewis said we were gonna have a title charge
Does my head in this - Lewis actually has good points they just shoot him down and then he starts saying ridiculous things as a result
Something that did not exist cannot be over
it took time for city to start challenging the title after the new owners came in, just give it time and dont spew so much toss
Don’t want to hear Newcastle have a hard start. Burnley had Man City(the treble winners) then villa(second in the league since emery took over) then Tottenham who are something else this season then got break with forest then another strong 3 teams after that
And Burnley are currently sat in dead last with ZERO points………you’ve made a completely irrelevant point 😂
@@XIAP0LL0IXpoint being they had the hardest start with a worse team than Newcastle
You miss some context. All 3 Burnley games so far were at Turf Moor and they got battered in every one of them. I know they’re newly promoted but that’s poor. Forest had a harder start, had to play at Old Trafford, Emirates and Stamford Bridge (plus sheff u at home) and they have 6 points
What a shit comment 😂 they have 0 points and newcastles games have been just as hard as they have went to the etihad and Amex 😂
@@bruhanime370 ….and got battered at home every game and are sat at the Bolton of the table.
Newcastle by the end of the season finished 18 points behind City.. they are already 9 points behind them and we are only 4 games in 😂
the confidence newcastle fans get after getting 4th when Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs were so shit last season is pretty crazy
Thinking Newcastle finishing 7th is massively generous they'll be damn lucky to get top 10. No squad depth at all and champions league this season... theyre fucked
what do you expect from Lewis, bro changes his opinion on players ever week..
Guy in the middle looks like Shaun longstaff
They were never in the title charge, stupid to even consider them in it
Talking about bruno g as if hes been good this season hes been shocking
Says teams usually bounce back after loss also arsenal lose to brighton 3-0 then to forest 1-0
toms frustration at theo not getting what he wants him to look up is fkn awesome from 8:15 to 8:45
since when were they even in a challenge in the first place?
Their squad is nowhere near a title challenging squad… they barely have the 6th best squad in the league! A top 6 finish with a few cup runs is decent. Last season was just a red herring
Newcastle didn’t have one to begin with? I don’t think any sane human would put Newcastle above or even in the same league as city
Jesus Christ these guys are intolerable. As if they are trying to argue villa, city, Liverpool and Brighton weren’t the toughest run in this season 😂😂😂
