For sure, i hope this is not another one-off of a class and then move to the next class. Prototype-classes need something like that, a full line up or even a half line up like VRC did with the LMP2s.
@@kurok1tenshi Besides the lack of rules (e. g. rolling starts!) this is AC's largest downfall. The game consists of random cars (both default and mods) and one has to use subpar mods (aka Scamdream) to create a somewhat realistic grid.
RSS have the same problem as URD and VRC with their content and that’s a very short attention span with planning projects. It’s a shame they didn’t do anything extra to complete the GT1/GT2 cars, or the 90’s prototypes.
Hey mate, the car isn't tame, the default setup is, if you reduce TC a bit, you will get better feel and also a riskier lively car. Less aero, stiffer suspensions, you know the drill, and you'll get a car that is as lively as the iracing on imho. Great video as always.
I just got into AC modding after not finding what I wanted in the other major sims out right now. I bought this car as my first paid mod for AC and I went back after a couple times around a track and bought the whole GT1/NGT pack from RSS as well. Stunning mod. Ran a quick 6 lap race of Le Mans last night with a full grid of LMH, LMP2 (Oreca 07) and GT3 cars and I spun out halfway through lap 1, the first part of the lap, battling with other LMH cars was the most thrilling thing I've done in sim racing in a while.
RSS can never miss with audio-visual quality of their cars, each of the releases are definitely pieces of simracing art. Physics-wise it's rather controversial for me, I'm not a fan how car quickly can lose its rear under breaking. Feels like something beyond a quick setup correction and makes the whole driving much less fun when pushing it all the way. Trying to control the car on Spa sometimes feels rather impossible. With URD and VRC experimenting with new CSP features, it feels like RSS should probably try and give in into experimenting too. They always have been very careful with these things, but I hope that the new Formula Alpha will motivate them to try and get out there with more fresh ideas. It felt to me like RSS has been always slightly above the other two modding groups, but at the end of this year it might not be the same. Still love every release they give us, the variety they brought recently is truly magnificent. No other studio can create such various package of high-quality racing cars and nail it 100% almost every time.
I agree! There’s a line that can be crossed for sure in terms of TOO many features, but I think RSS should try and push the envelope a bit more and explore the limits of what CSP can do
Both URD and VRC has published fantastic content this year. URD's 992 GT3-R and VRC's F.A. setting new benchmarks for their version of cars. Can't wait to see what lies ahead.

RSS have already experimented a lot with CSP, but thing is, CSP is broken most of the time, we see it with this car, you cannot even race it in MP without having to get rid of the good stuff. So you either get the most of non csp stuff and have a good functional car...or you get a car that is unreliable but has lots things.
Just bought it. Good mod. Not the most exciting to drive, but solid and predictable. Still think VRC and URD LMP / hyper cars are the best on the market. The Revenga and Glickenhaus especially.
I was worried you wouldn't do this car after you didn't do the Loire. But im glad you did.. This type of car hits a sweet spot for me. Compared to the moyoda hypercar it seems 1-2 seconds slower. And it seems slower than the glickenhaus. I still need to take it to Sebring. My one criticism is that the AI seems very slow. Like I'm two to three seconds faster than the AI.. Maybe I'm that good. But I doubt it. I found giving the moyoda 30 kg of ballast made them competitive if you were very good. I love the car though and I'd like to see some more liveries.
@@andrewtaylor6410 VRC made the revenga, which is the LMP1 version of the Oreca 07. You can BOP it to the hypercar if you want, or BOP to the LMP2. It is a lot of fun to drive as well.
So in GTP there are different deployment modes. However the cars have a hard cap of 670 HP. So whether you are deploying maximum battery or no battery the cars ECU with adjust to not go over 670 hp. As far as this car, the only basis I have to judge it is whatever I can tell from watching the real car and the iRacing version. To me, this car feels really sluggish. I would expect the rear end to dance around a bit more. You can see watching IMSA how much of a struggle getting power down is. I didn’t feel that at all with the RSS car even with TC off 🤷🏻♂️
Have you tried stiffening the suspensions and putting less aero in the back, stiffening the body roll in the back, etc? It gets as lively as it can get if you do.
As far as I remember the mods are based on the existing cars so my question would be which DLC would I need for the mod to work or is the mod based on an already existing car ?
I find it quite strange that every time you "review" a RSS car, you have to bring up some VRC car to compare it to. Funny thing is, the VRC car you are bringing up here is not even the same type of car. Why not bring up the TS050 that they made as it would be the closest content they have made to this. I also have noticed you do not bring up any of the major issues people are having with the FA23. You know the one where you have to use the standard car in order to play online. That means if you want to drive online all the bells and whistles it comes with are no longer there. Instead of constantly bringing up a competitor maybe just tell us about this car and how its modeled really really well, it sounds amazing, it drives amazing, and it just works. Also you should probably bring up that any issue you may have with RSS products will be quickly dealt with. Unlike other companies that takes weeks, months, or even years to fix glaring issues. I used to watch all your reviews but the heavy bias has made me unsubscribe.

LMH will have over 10 different brands and i´m already smelling maybe a Porsche and a Toyota or Ferrari and they will move to the next shiny. They could sell so much more if they actually completed a specific class.

Has RSS made a Hypercar mod for the old trio from 2013? I would love to be able to run in electric only or toggle race mode in the P1. Imagine if you could use it in electric up to 70 then it switches over to full power above 100. I think the 918 is rear wheel drive only until you activate the power?. Imagine if you could toggle that or has it already been done?.

I hope RSS builds all the LMH and LMDh cars eventually. Lowering the front stiffness makes the car come alive!

Not of the Hypercar road car variant. The closest I’ve seen is the Tagomi T50 from VRC. It’s all-electric until 50 km/h
