I’m a GMC over Chevy guy but hard to not recognize that Chevy wins this battle. The GMC extras are mostly “nice to haves” and not worth 8k extra. The GMC would also require that I replace the rims but I would keep the Chevy wheels all day. Thanks for this comparison.
I've honestly never understood why GMC is a brand. What makes them distinct from Chevy? They are the same GM platforms, and part of why GM was/is in ruins was their heavy re-badging of the same platforms across so many marques. My mother had '68 Chevelles, '76 Camaro Z/28, and then an '89 Camaro RallSport before going all Pontiac. 96 Firebird, 2003 WS6 TransAm, and finally a G5. The Firebirds were re-branded Camaros, but they did have original interior designs. The WS6 performance package also was unique over the top Camaro. However, the G5 was very little different from the Cobalt I owned.

Both trucks look amazing. I like the interior of the Chevy, I like the front end of the GMC. Wheels better on the Chevy. Fender trim is better on Chevy. Prefer deployable steps over the stationary. Could care less for speakers in a tailgate though.. wouldn’t get that , but like the multi flex tailgate . GMC paint is a lighter looking color
I’m confused… I thought the at4 was equivalent to the zr2 so that would make the at4x equivalent to the zr2 bison. Which would make the numbers closer?? No?
Nope, bison = at4x aev edition. Zr2 = at4x. Gmc carries a premium over the chevy, about 8k-10k usd. You're paying for the seats and front grill basically and the lights on the fender lol. Same truck.
The step-gate should be standard on both vehicles. Also I THOUGHT the step could be lowered while the gate is up, and allow for a lower angle for overhanging materials. Guess not though. The Chevy is just a better looking truck IMO, but I've never understood GMC in general. I know it's the luxury line, but it seems silly to have a separate marque for that. Both are nice truck but I prefer the styling of the Chevy. I have never really liked how GMC makes thier grills so much higher then the headlights for a cartoonish look.
How do you pay for it, I like the truck but I don’t like the price. I got my 2019 3500HD L5P and I love it and I payed $68,000.00 and that was for a LTZ and I got mine with 1 mil on the odometer. But I can’t justifying $95,000 for a pick up truck.
Your video was good, but you had too many commercials. Very frustrating. I will pay the difference for the GMC. Chevy front looks very aggressive, but I still like the GMC, even the wheels.
I prefer the Chevy outside looks better, but the interior sucks. Currently in a 9 year old denali 2500 and the seats are still mint and comf. Owned a LT Chevy and leather was not comfortable and cracked at 8 years. GMC has way better interior lines and quality
So I don’t think it’s fare to compare AT4X to ZR2. I think the AT4 vs ZR2 would be a better compare. I could be wrong, though I’d like to see that video comparing those 2.
@@rsbreeze… So Rancho shocks with the off-road tire selection option is not off-road? What other option would be needed to select on the build sheet???

Hey JB, let me know when you want to sell that AT4X…seriously
I am envious . How do you afford these trucks and still afford to live? It is hard for a normal person to pull off.
How do you pay for it, I like the truck but I don’t like the price. I got my 2019 3500HD L5P and I love it and I payed $68,000.00 and that was for a LTZ and I got mine with 1 mil on the odometer.
But I can’t justifying $95,000 for a pick up truck.
A lot of people run it through their biz and depreciate it.
Hey JB how you like the 2023 Ford Super Duty truck?
Of course!
Awesome trucks
Exact same paint code on each, 633D
Should have a safe a cooler fridge standard for the price.
I want them both. It's like dating the hot sister but she doesn't care if u take her sister out also. A win win.
😆😆
One day man one day
I must say I like the console better on the Chevy
Both Slate and Thunderstorm are the same color code.

I’m a Chevy guy but we need a more aggressive hood and better material in the interior. Like why do they get a back door speaker ? 😢
ZR2 all the way!
GMC has those crappy half octagon wheel wells....No thanks
Your video was good, but you had too many commercials. Very frustrating. I will pay the difference for the GMC. Chevy front looks very aggressive, but I still like the GMC, even the wheels.
I prefer the Chevy outside looks better, but the interior sucks. Currently in a 9 year old denali 2500 and the seats are still mint and comf. Owned a LT Chevy and leather was not comfortable and cracked at 8 years. GMC has way better interior lines and quality
"And....you can get it for under 95 grand," lol....what a bargain!😂
So I don’t think it’s fare to compare AT4X to ZR2. I think the AT4 vs ZR2 would be a better compare. I could be wrong, though I’d like to see that video comparing those 2.
No because the key features are the offroad package including suspension and tires.
@@rsbreeze… So Rancho shocks with the off-road tire selection option is not off-road? What other option would be needed to select on the build sheet???
How is this not a fair comparison? Both trucks have the same tires and shocks. AT4 is a lower builder.
Your money your taste I am not buying 90k plus truck not including interest rates. Some states I can get house 100-150k
your comparing a ZR2 to a AT4X. different trim package you should be comparing a ZR2 to A regular AT4 which base price with shipping the GMC is Cheaper then th ZR2 if you add no options other then the color ZR2 is $72595 AT4 is $72590. Maybe only $5 but still cheaper
Chevy better value, GMC looks better
You act like these are hard to get. I see rows of them at the dealership just sitting there.
You just damaged the gmc multi tailgate when you opened.
The gmc does look lighter or whiter
Yup
$95k and can’t even off-road as well as the base Raptor. They look cool on pavement though.
