Sarah, I love your videos. They cover a vast range of eras and music styles. Rock the boat was a huge hit here in Brazil. You nailed it, as usual. I´d love to watch you cover some Earth Wind and Fire song.
Thanks very much. My bass is plugged into a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface (you'll find it on Amazon!), and the backing track plays directly from my iTunes library. My computer records the bass without the backing, so then I have to put the 2 audio tracks together and finally import the mixed audio track into the video, and make sure its all synchronised properly.
When i was a kid i used to sing 'Id like to know where you got your nose from' Hope i can find the tabs. Going to learn this tomorrow/today oops Are the band learning it or you freewheeling?
Haha, that's so funny! I'm sure there must be tabs out there somewhere, although I've never used them myself but I'd be surprised if they weren't available online.
Ah thanks, nice to know you're out there watching. Live streams? If I did that you'd realise how many times I have to record something before I get it right! Also, I'm in the UK but I have a lot of subscribers in the US and South America, so the time difference would make it hard for many people.

Sarah! Another great choice and performance!
There's more to that bassline than I was aware of. Nicely done!
Yes, there's some clever little runs going on, but the bass is quite low in the mix, so its not obvious until you really listen. Thanks :)
So I learned it, thank you to give me the idea. It's a funny bassline, melodic and rythmic. ;-)

Hi Sarah, you didn't choose an easy option with this track. But don't run yourself down. The vast majority of your playing on this track is excellent.
Its a song I've wanted to do for a long time, but not an easy one to nail.
