    love this, I wanted to give you an idea, most mountain bike riders and your audience are people who have jobs, family, etc, we cannot all make it to the gyM, it would be awesome to do a top five workouts to do at home for the average mountain biker to take their skills and safety to the next level. I like this one but I don't have a stool, im gonna actually use my couch for this workout and a thick book lol :)

      Thanks for the idea. We get that not everyone can make it to a gym, we are working towards more home workout content. Next week there will be an article in Singletrax magazine we’re doing, there are 2 workouts - one for the gym and one for those who don’t have access, look out for it 👌🏼

    I'll try this for sure.
    I was going to ask if you have suggestions for me for a certain work out for a upcoming event.
    It a 100lap enduro mini bike race 100 mile race.
    Mini bikes have no rear suspension
    Atleast mine don't going to be in a off-road setting. It a real test of man an machine.
    Have any suggtion of certain work outs I should try. I was thinking maybe something to strengthen the back? Your the expert not me.
    Most guys quit at lap 30 to 50 because of exhausting conditions.
    Event also takes place in the middle of August so it swelting hot

    This is great. What weight bar bell do you guys use?

    • @Fit4Racing
      @Fit4Racing  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      None in this vid but normally we use 20kg for barbell work.

      @@Fit4Racing so I don't need to buy a 100kg olympic barbell to do what you do?

    • @Fit4Racing
      @Fit4Racing  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahh, I’m sorry, I misunderstood your question. I would recommend a large total weight for the barbell, enough to cover a 3 rep max deadlift, that would depend on your strength but in excess of 100kg I would say.

      @@Fit4Racing so you recommend a 100kg barbell.

    Maybe I missed it but are there recommendations for sets/reps per leg? I was doing your program in early winter/late fall and loved it but suffered a very serious injury on the bike. I'm just getting back into the gym a bit as my vertebrae have healed but am doing such a modified program I can't justify the subscription again, absolutely love all these tips though!

      Great to hear you are on the mend, I hope you continue to improve. Sorry if the reps and sets weren’t apparent, I’d suggest doing 8-12 x 3-4 sets, it might change depending on what the aim is during the programme however, this would build a good general adaption to the moment.

    What trainers are you wearing?

    I am very interested in your courses. I don't live anywhere near a gym. What equipment do I need to do your course at home?

    • @Fit4Racing
      @Fit4Racing  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jason Millar you’d need:
      A squat rack with barbell
      Some kettlebells or dumbbells
      A pull-up bar
      Somewhere to run, a turbo trainer or rowing machine
      Most other things can be worked around.

    Nice indeed, but safety is of big concern!

    • @Fit4Racing
      @Fit4Racing  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Safety is always a priority, please follow the scaled options first before trying anything you may feel compromised doing. Never go beyond your limit but push them where possible.
