      Fullthrottle Auto for sure. This was my first coilover purchase. So far so good. I had a heck of time getting the struts out. Fronts were the biggest pain, rears weren’t too bad. Took me about 8 hours total, and this was with a full set of tools and just me doing the work. All set to the Tein specs for the car, both for height and ride firmness. I went with the Street Advance Zs. Looking forward to seeing your setup.

    So, the Hyundai caliper bolts onto the Accord hub with a special bolt? Kit doesn't even require an adapter to use the Hyundai caliper?

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you don't need any adapters, it mounts directly to the hub. As for a special bolt, there's nothing special about it. It's just a bolt that works with the hub and caliper.

    Do the pads sit correctly on the rotor?

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Like I mention in the video. They overall sit correctly on the rotor. The only little bit is the bottom of the pad that's close to the top hat. It creates the smallest lip on the pad because the pad is just slightly bigger.

      Try contacting R1concepts to see if they can do a BBK for you. They offer their own BBK options for different cars. I'm sure it won't be as cheap as this kit but it could be an option.

    Anything to get a video to 11 minutes to get it monetized, right?

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not sure what you mean. Are you saying the way I edited the video was due to making sure it gets monetized and gets enough ads on it due to length? If so, let me tell you a secret, my videos can't me monetized since I am under a 1000 subscribers. I just enjoyed the edit on the video.
      One thing you'll learn about me is I don't care for any algorithm. I make videos that I would watch and enjoy.
      There are 3 things I focus on. Entertain, Educate, and Inspire. If I can do one of those I'll be happy. If I was concerned about monetization I would make daily videos where all I do is talk to the camera and show you nothing else.
      That's why I don't make daily videos. Because I don't want to make videos where I'm just talking to the camera and there is nothing more to the video then just that.
      So if you're saying that I edited this video the way I did for monetization, you'd be wrong.

      And to add to that, they don't need to be 11 minutes. That's why you see bullshit channels like "Bright Side" "Five Minute Crafts" and all the other bullshit channels made by TheSoul Publishing to LITERALLY just play the algorithm.

    $800 kit. That’s a bit pricey considering you can source this yourself for less than half.

    • @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO
      @FULLTHROTTLEAUTO  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From what I can see the used front calipers from a Gensis Coupe is around $600 and thats not including rotors, pads, lines, fluid, a full rebuild of the calipers using news seals and bleed screws and pistons and paint. By the time you add all that up and the time you would spend repainting and rebuilding the calipers, I'd say its worth it. But you definitely can save some money sourcing it yourself.
