I will miss the old lechmere station. It was old but had character. The sound of the screeching as the trains turned around, the old canopy with wrought iron rivets. Alot of memories there waiting to catch a train to the red Sox with my mom as a kid.
Great video! I’m from the Bay Area and watching this makes me wish Muni metro had as much dedicated track as the green line. The elevated sections were really cool as well.
I never went to Beantown, this is a best station almost couple years after the old lechmere station is out of order. We got the union Sq station in Manhattan. Type 3 trolleys is just like R142A, R143 & R188 in NYC. That's a great video
If you knew your baseball basically the type 8 trolley (🇬🇧 Tram) Germany Austria (Straßenbahn/Stadtbahn) Boston Red Sox Kenmore Green Line B,C & D Branches = New York City Subway 4 train Lexington Avenue 161st street Yankee stadium (NY Yankees) R142A 7591-7810 & 7 train New York Mets mets willets point station R188 7811-7936 & R142A 7211-7590 due to the same Propulsion unit MITRAC 1508C.
This is a very nice video. I knew the fact that at union square station there’s a bell that indicates that trains is ready to leave so I’ve notice that
did you see the extra with PAR-1 and the genset this morning? I did and it's prob the coolest train to run over the grand junction since the Pine tree limited.
I took the extension yesterday. It was kind of boring and didn't have much to look at. Also apparently I was supposed to "validate" my ticket but no one explained it to me and I had no idea. Not well thought out. I do think it is great that they did this and I would like to see better commuter options for people to live outside of the Metro Boston area.
@@BostonByRails Depends on your program. Looks like you may have just rotated letters rather than get the text truly reflected. But it looks fine as is - just being picky :)
Exactly! I think its so wild that the E line goes from the T’s oldest infrastructure (the mission park street running) to the modern greenline extension

I totally agree, that station had so much charm to it. The new one is great but its also like all the others
Awesome video! I loved how you can see the skyline of Boston and the sunrise from the Lechmere Viaduct.
Yea its amazing!

You uploaded this on my 20th Birthday, also, the extension looks great!
Happy late birthday! Thanks!

Question, do you know if the Haverhill Commuter rail line passes union square?
It does not pass union square. The fitchburg line does
Haverhill parallels the Orange line north...
I enjoyed your video.

Guess what station I would come from on the commuter rail and guess where I would go to
Andover to north station?
Yes
Gotta work on those reflected letters ;-)
Any tips?

@@johnmclachlan3602 no you have a point. That is indeed what I did. Ill look for better programs tho. thanks!
Bruh who tf used Stormworks as the design program for the green line cars
Lmao
Modernization is the last thing I thought I'd ever see on the Green line.

I'd like to imagine you as being miles on transit, until i see miles on transit recorded by somebody else, that is you...
I am not miles in transit! Hahaha, though i have met him many times
