Thankyou! This video helped me get rid of the BSOD, and repair some corrupted files. I can now open videos without it freezing! Hope you're well, and thankyou again ❤
None of these solutions solve mine but after I updated the BIOS to the latest version and made sure the PCIe is on the correct one and not on AUTO (GEN 3 for my setup), everything is working fine now. Hopefully this helps.
@@fepzie update: i managed to fix it by underclocking the memory core using msi afterburner after all this time it was my ram who is causing the problemi think i lowered it around 150- memory core
I've only gotten this code when I wake my laptop up after it's been in sleep mode and everything kind of freezes except my mouse. Before it would do this and then act load normal and I could play games and work all day, but now I've gotten this stop code twice in a week after waking up my laptop... very weird. I have tried your methods and hoping it'll help.
My pc got this error yesterday. I reach the initial login screen but before I can press akey to get out of the screensaver, the screen gets these glitched green squares before BSODing, shutting off, or rebooting. I am usimg a refurbished MSI RTX 3060 12GB that I purchased last year in July. If anyone can help me I'd be most grateful.
Hi there, thank you for your question! I recommend checking for overheating by ensuring the GPU and fans are clean and that your case has good airflow. Updating or rolling back to a stable GPU driver may also help, as recent updates can sometimes cause instability. Monitor GPU temperature with MSI Afterburner or run stability tests using tools like Heaven or FurMark and watch for artifacts. Ensure your PSU can adequately power your RTX 3060, as power fluctuations can trigger crashes. Finally, reseat the GPU, checking for any visible damage or debris. If the issue persists, your card may be showing early signs of failure, which could be covered under warranty.
Please help me, I got this BSOD after my laptop randomly black screened and got a notification “Windows Operating System has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware” followed by “StartmenuExp has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware”. This is on a fresh system reset and windows install after updates and newest gpu driver installed. Also did Chkdisk and it found zero errors. Sfc/DISM restore also did not help, but it did find and fix corrupt files.
Hi there, thank you for your question! The error message indicates a block from accessing graphics hardware suggests a problem with the GPU or its drivers. To troubleshoot, ensure you have the latest graphics drivers installed, and consider rolling back to a previous version if the problem started after an update. Check for Windows updates to ensure your OS is up to date, and run system file checker (SFC) to fix any corrupt files. Monitor GPU temperatures to rule out overheating, and perform a clean boot to identify conflicting software. If the issue persists, try testing with a different GPU if possible, or contact the manufacturer's support or a technician for further assistance and diagnosis.
@@RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware After a lot of different troubleshoots and swapping ram, only to have the same results, i’m thinking my gpu is finally going out? I swapped ram, did a full system reset/clean windows install, and upon entering windows set up it already began to black screen, artifact, and eventually just rebooted itself after a black screen. I’ve done it all prior to this, clean wipe drivers using DDU in safemode, went new drivers, and tried all the older ones. SFC always seems to find and fix corrupt files but it doesn’t ever fix the problem. Even got to the point after clean reset where no corrupt files found using SFC/Dism but after being stable for a bit it just randomly errors and black screens again.
Tried all these methods, went to update drivers, said all drivers were up to date, uninstalled nvidia drivers and its installed software, restarted the laptop, blue screen of death again, Same stop code error. Don't know what to do. Will factory reset help? There's nothing on there I'm bothered about losing.
i’m in the rabbit hole rn. Tried everything and even a system wipe and fresh windows install didn’t fix things. It was all fine for the first few minutes then I got a random black screen followed by notifications “Windows Operating System has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware” and “Startmenuexp has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware”. The black screen started to loop and i tried shutting down then got the BSOD again. I gave up after that cuz I’ve tried EVERYTHING every video has said. This all happened one random day while gaming and i haven’t been able to fix things since, it’s so saddening and frustrating
Hi there, thank you for your question. If you're experiencing a blue screen (BSOD) on your computer, it can be challenging to perform certain tasks directly. However, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and address the issue: Restart Your Computer: Try restarting your computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Boot into Safe Mode: Restart your computer and boot into Safe Mode. In Safe Mode, Windows loads with a minimal set of drivers, and you can perform troubleshooting steps more effectively. To boot into Safe Mode, restart your computer and press the F8 key repeatedly during the boot process until you see the Advanced Boot Options menu. From there, choose "Safe Mode." Perform a System Restore: If you had created a system restore point before encountering the blue screen, you can try restoring your system to a previous state. Boot into Safe Mode and navigate to "Control Panel > System and Security > System > System Protection." Click on the "System Restore" button and follow the on-screen instructions.

I personally have this issue with my windows and done most of these solutions and will try the others as soon as I can. But if all of these fail there are some other options you can try. Some that I’m holding off on doing. One you can try cleaning your PC and graphics card. Make sure it’s seated properly in the PCIE slot on your MB. Make sure your HDMI cable is plugged in properly and maybe even change it out. Also make sure all other components are plugged in properly ensuring nothing is able cause a short. Lastly after all else fails you can try and reset your windows using the option to leave your files in place but repair windows. If that fails then you will want to back up all your files you want to keep and do a fresh install of windows. Usually one of two things will cause this error a multitude of software issues or a multitude of hardware issues.
I think it's the motherboard, i mean in my case the error appeared after the motherboard fried some of it's components, possibly few mosfets that are broken. I've used 2 identical video cards that are giving me the same error, before that they worked perfectly but i smell the motherboard and there is a persistent burning smell coming from it.
