I appreciate the video. I just did the installation, after a couple of tries. There are a couple of steps that are missed in this video . 1. There is an included rubber gasket. Install it with the cone facing up in the T-joint. 2. Wrap all threaded ends with the included Teflon tape. Wrap it four times around. Do this before you begin the installation. Watch a TH-cam video on how to wrap Teflon tape. 3. Even though the printed instructions don’t show this, I found it easier to attach the final hose before I placed the bidet on the toilet. 4. When you place the bidet, push it as far back as it will go toward the back of the toilet. Make sure it is centered. I was pleased with how this bidet performs. It hits the bullseye. While I was concerned about the water being unheated, I now think that is unnecessary.
Your directions are way better than what comes with the kit. It never mentions what to do with the tape or how to position the washer. Horrible. Also zero words. Just pictures.
I was just going to comment on the “left out” portion of this video. Then I read your comment. PERFECT! I am a 79 year young woman who will now to attempt this. It looks easy enuff and with your added instructions, I know I can do it.🎉
Yeah might be an idea to show the install of the rubber seal in the T joint, also the instructions say to make sure the jet nozzles are as far back to the bowl as possible 😊
I did exactly this (including the skipped steps with the gasket and the tape) and it leaked like crazy. I removed the T-joint and reconnect as usual and no leaks at all. Any idea what might be going wrong?
