Well done. I started having flashbacks to when I fitted my Kenwood head unit to my 9-3 a couple of years ago. Yes, the Dremel was out to adapt the mounting frame and surround to obtain a flush fit. That Kenwood head unit is just as deep as the original, so had great fun trying to tuck the metres of spaghetti and connectors behind it. Ended up removing the glove box to pull some of the wiring through and out of the way. And like yours there was no sound to start with. And then pulled it all out again this year to connect the Kenwood dash cam. At least I wasn't doing it in the snow. Keep those videos coming Jonas.

Great videos and turbo x is awesome! Have you seen Saab unleashed? A Uk channel that specialises in car audio systems. I’m thinking of an XTrons double din unit for my aero as they seem to be easiest to fit. No extra bits needed for amp or steering wheel controls

A question. I am fitting an Atoto A6PF 7" car radio to my 2008 Saab 9-3 Sporthatch with 7-way audio system. I connected everything but it doesn't play, I can't find the amplifier wire from the car. How do I recognise it? Thank you.
I had to reverse the power cables in order to retain the memory of the unit. The hardest part was to get steering wheel buttons work since I didn't understand the instructions in the beginning. NG9-5 was much more easier. It's plug'n'play with its canbus.
I have the Bose 7 speaker sound system in my Saab, and I always see people bitching on the Saab forums online about how that sound system sucks and sounds like crap....and I never understood that. It has clear sound, good range and good bass for a stock system. I can turm the bass up all the way and the volume, and never get any distortion. I dont know what the hell they've beem driving with these incredible stock sound systems but i think its pretty damn good, especially for that time period. Ive thought about upgrading my speakers and amp but its not because they sound like crap, Id just like to have something a little nicer.
Bra gjort👍 Ja installerade original navigationen för några år sen. Kan du inte göra en film om hur man rostlagar 9-3ans skärmkanter utan att rosten kommer tillbaka efter 6 månader. Det är ju dubbelplåt där och rosten verkar komma från insidan.
Om du av någon anledning får lågt ljud på basen(rör sig knappt) så glöm inte adaptern som sänker högnivån från orginalslutsteget. Hade förjävliga problem med detta när jag köpte ny stereo och kopplade in bas. Kunde inte sätta fingret på vad som var fel just då.

Hade också en TXSC med en tidigare Atoto. Bra ips-skärm, bra ljud, men strulig internetdelning med 4G iPhone och ingen ”night panel” funktion. Hur fungerar det på denna S8?
Hi Jonas, I have the exact same installation same car , bought the incar tec looms, everything working but I have no sound, I have connected the power antenna cable from the unit to amp remote turn on cable as you have done , but no sound any ideas?

NG9-5 was much more easier. It's plug'n'play with its canbus.
My unit came with different ISO looms so the powering wasnt an issue as soon as I got the correct cables.

Hur svårt är det att få till passformen egentligen? Du var tvungen att kapa lite på den inre ramen, hur gjorde du det så att det blev snyggt?

The 2007 as the new interior but old exterior, so same as my TurboX 👌

När man använder google maps t.ex, måste man vara uppkopplad med telefonen eller får den signal från sin egna GPS-puck? :)
Bra fråga, den har ju GPS antenn... Men kartorna är ju baserade på internetuppkoppling så tror man behöver ha internetdelning 👍

Turbo-x har ju viktfördel mot ng9-5, annars har ju ng9-5 några snäpp bättre chassi.. Men fyrhjulsdriften är ju densamma 😉

When you connected the amplifier power on. Which wires did you actually connect together?

I installed a Kenwood unit using a Connects 2 loom, the amp hiss is unbearable! Have you had any issues with hissing with the In CarTech loom??
