“Let the Little Girl Dance” was actually recorded by BILLY Bland in 1960 on Old Town records. If you read label copy in the 1950s and 1960s you will see his writers credits on more than a few Rhythm and Blues songs back then. This leads me to believe he wasn’t as easily cheated out of his props as others were. Good luck finding any other information about him. I’m just glad to see the photos because I never knew what the man looked like. Great presentation as usual!

My favorite song that he wrote for Little Willie John and later a bigger hit by Little Milton: All Around The World/Grits Ain't Groceries! Charles Brown recorded my favorite Christmas song that i grew up on listening: "Please Come Home For Christmas".😊

Two of Titus Turner's singles aired on one of the R&B stations in the San Francisco Bay Area. In June 1964 it was "Baby Girl" on Atco and later on that year "The Last of the Big Time Spenders" on Glover records.
