Will writing anisole derivative for antioxidant will help us from winning cases of infringement, who makes minor chemical changes to the anisole and trades it without licence?
While using "words" in the claims, the idea is always to use a broad umbrella term that can cover all possible variations - but always keep in mind what is already out there - so that you can steer past the prior art.
Can ratios be used in the claims? Like instead of writing the specific mg value we can write that the ingredient 1 & 2 is mixed in the ratio of 1:4 or something like that?
