- Obviously I am pretty sad that I did not get Al'Shedim first try. Pretty much everything else went almost perfect. Thanks to marcze for the Trelis trick ;)
Honestly, when I failed Al'Shedim I thought about aborting the run, because I did not see the timer during the run. Pretty happy I kept my mentality together and ended the run solidly. The escapes were beyond lucky, I must say xDD

hi couple of questions: 1. How to kill Vak, why enemies don't beat you when you open the character menu. 2. How to skip the animation of drinking potions? Thank you in advance! Your speedrun is cool !😉
Hi. There are two ways to beat Vak that both revolve around AI bugs. 1. (to be seen in my previous runs) you go to a corner where all enemies loose aggro, then you sneak behind a torch, where only Vak has aggro, if you draw the sword. 2. When the enemies get aggro, because you are in a forbidden location, but then you leave the location while attacking Vak, all other Orks will not have aggro anymore until you kill Vak. Here it is essential, that you get out of the door while attacking Vak.
You can skip the potion animation by sneaking before opening the menu.
Opening any menu (inventory, character, etc.) will lead to you being invulnerable. This used in multiple places during the run. In general, it slows you down, but enables a very safe escape out of dangerous situations

Why is Gothic 3 just so unbareable ... even on tripple speed and speedrun it feels like ages ... even playing it felt like a decade and not because it was so good ... and the disapointment after you went throu with it for what ... a shitty sidescrolling ending, scam.
OK; I guess many people feel that way. For me, it is one of my favorite games. Not to say it has many issues, but it also has some unique strengths. It just technically is an unfinished game (though to be frank, the scope of the development team at that time was unrealistic)
