Great video. Almost no traffic on the A82, no caravans or motorhomes. Not a hiker or a cyclist on the West Highland Way. Magic! ... and you can always play your own music to taste. And with bare trees, there's so much more to see. Rail journeys in summer are becoming more and more like going through tunnels of birch and alder.
Absolutely spot on m8,whilst the sprinter units of today are much more comfortable nothing beats the sound of a class 37 pulling a rake of coaches and being able to stick your head out the window breathing in the crisp clear Highland air. Lost count of the number of times the guard told me off for that.
Hard to believe you found a high-definition video camera that has no audio capability. Really? Nobody is doing this on TH-cam. Environmental sounds are vital.
It's wonderful to be able to re-live the experience of travelling on this line, particularly during lockdown!
Glad to be of help, Berwyn! ^CT

Quiet day here in EH53, this fair cheered me up, thanks. Heading for the buffet.
You're very welcome, have a great evening! ^Angus
Wonderful video with remarkable skies. thank you for posting.
Our pleasure!
Smashing video.. favourite bit after 1hr 8min through the Monessie Gorge
Love the West Highland Line, did it back in 1990 on a 37/4, better than a unit!

@@MrCmac731 did head bashing regularly between Darlington and York on the HST’s, miss those days.
Fantastic! It would be good to see a lot more of this around Scotland. RailCowGirl from Norway has some stunning footage. :-)
Such a beautiful place to visit by train. I do like Scotland 🏴
Amazing!
How many passengers were there? Great video!
This must have been filmed before this weekend as its a blanket of snow everywhere on WHL
If only we could get on a train to film all the snow now! 😢 ^Angus

Way ahead of you! ^Angus th-cam.com/video/CG3jojudebs/w-d-xo.html
@@ScotRail I don't think Glasgow is in Oban.
Please tell me/us why there is no audio with this video.
Hello, we can't record audio footage in the drivers cabin for safety purposes as they communicate frequently along the route.
Why is there NO sound on #Scotrail trains?

Almost worth getting stressed to use this as a stressbuster...
No sound!
Please get some sound on your videos
I'm afraid we can't do this Philip, we don't record sound in the drivers booth to ensure nothing distracts the driver. ^Ste
@@ScotRail Don Coffeys videos all have sound, he’s a driver for Northern and there’s never been any issues because of this!
