phage was used to minimize the amount of initial/xata hits and display the full force of blast dot expeditions
it doesnt actually need slash because the raw damage is that high

@@Crocodaller Or I guess I should say, blast really isn't much of a DoT so sorta true? The timed blast hits suck but the ones set off at max stacks certainly are not.

Slash truly is the worst math wise, 0.35 dmg multiplier that doesnt scale with slash mods while elemental dots have 0.5 dmg multiplier and they scale multiplicative with their mods. Blast relies heavily on extra hits and getting to 10 procs.

These are the worst DoT’s matematically. Still Blast has the benefit of being AoE and slash is easy to build for, but they are still at the bottom alongside gas which is the very worst dot
