Roi I'd say the main difference is without the addition of the toys, Babbit and the other characters constantly breaking the fourth wall, Hayama speaking his feelings more, and actually yeah, a lot of things were revised in the anime 😆
I remember watching this anime when I was younger and I still listen to the official soundtrack till this day. The only downside to this anime in my personal opinion is that I wish it stayed canon to manga.

The last two seasons were so much better.....even if the subs aren't perfect, the voices fit better.....so I recommend seeing them! They have way more emotional depth to them.
