Don't actually do this I do this on my redmi note 5 pro and after boot in TWRP my phone broke I can't open my phone and I had to fix it in xiaomi store which cost me around rm120 (30usd)

in i bal no need to unlock the bootloader.... Now these all the phone comes with locked bootloader..without unloking them you are not able to make any changes on the system

you should clear dalvik cache once you flash magisk, and also flash "lazy flasher zip file", you can look it up online.
