It’s looks great! My mom was a young lady in the 1950s and 60s... she had a mascara like that. It was by Maybeline and it was a little case with a slide out compartment that held a solid mascara, it came with a brush she would wet and the rub over the mascara. How often as a little girl I would watch my mom put on her makeup to go out someplace special. I though she was a princess 😊

First! It is so cool to see the jump from the 1950s to the 1960s (I've seen Jbunzie's 1950s makeup tutorial ❤️) because in the 50s one it was like you, and I too, expected this 60s one to be. It was super simple and didn't have all the contour and highlight and things 🤗💞
You should try brown eyeliner. It would be a good fit on your eyes, brown is softer and wouldn't be hard and dramatic like black. Also light brown could work too. Hope you try it. :) and Besame is amazing! Dusty Rose would be super pretty on you.

Hi Em, I have some Besame Cosmetics and there the cutest because there all vintage inspired and the details, also they have a brown cake mascara that you can try, it comes with the little brush and you can also use it as an eyeliner all you do is dab it with little bit of water. Also I love the lipsticks!!
I'm trying the folic acid you mentioned recently. Bought those hair towels too. I really like them. I had a dollar tree version years ago but the quality wasn't very good and it was much smaller. The ones you use are so soft too!
I personally love using my fingers to blend in foundations that are lighter and more like BB creams - it gives such a pretty skin-like finish to the makeup! I wouldn't suggest that method for heavier or matte foundations, because those are meant to have a much higher coverage and I don't feel like you get great coverage with the finger-blend method. It's more about how the skin looks finish-wise.
You should look up Besame Cosmetics. They have makeup that is beautiful and based to look how makeup did back in the day. I have a few things from them and I love the cake mascara. It basically looks like a little cake in a tin.
Honestly I have central heterochromia so my eyes are light green to blue and my central color is Amber and I also have big eyes so I feel like it makes me eyes pop but it depends on my shirt that'll affect how my eyes look
If you want the boost to your lashes from eyeliner without the harshness, try using a soft brown and putting it on BEFORE eye shadow. I have the same issue as you do with black eyeliner but I have found that just reversing the steps and always using a brown pencil (or one in the same color as the eyeshadow I'm planning but a couple shades darker) has made a huge difference in softening the look while still getting the boost to my lashes.
You should check out violette_fr ! She's the global beauty director for Estee Lauder (I think that's her title) and her channel is great. She focuses on natural, wearable bases and uses her hands a lot. Her videos are super calm and relaxing. I think you would really like her!

I don't know if you're still looking for wedding songs, but "Where Have You Been All My Life" by Kathy Mathia is one that I really love.
