My glucose monitor didn't show a sugar spike at all. Went up by 10 points after a 16 hour fast. That's nothing, which tells me this guys has no idea what he is talking about.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Individual results will of course always vary depending on metabolism, and insulin sensitivity. Since most people don't have a glucometer on hand, I maintain that RXBars are not the best option outside of high-activity scenarios. Otherwise, 17g of sugar is a needlessly large dose of sugar that can cause adverse effects beyond just increasing blood sugar. -Remy
