Found this; This lineup of John Schlitt (vocals), Mike Somerville (guitars), Roger Boyd (keyboards), Dan Birney (bass) and Steve Huston (drums) would last through four more studio albums and a double-LP live album when in 1980 Schlitt, Birney and Somerville left the band although Somerville would return for 1994 through 2003.
I saw Head East at the Oakland Coliseum, they opened for Molly Hatchet and the Outlaws. I always thought that was a weird pairing but they were good. Of course I thought that Molly Hatchet blew the Outlaws out of the water.
@@HardDayzKnight I was totally shocked by Molly Hatchet. It might have been their energy. have always been a fan of The Outlaws, once in a while a band takes your energy, so it was that night. The Outlaws still rock though.
Thank you much! 👍 It was a enjoyable listen.

Attempted this song with tabs and your video and I gotta say you make it look way to easy haha
I can understand the difficulty. I had to work on this one as it is all over the place and a unique rhythm. Thanks for commenting!
Harder than it looks. Nice
Thank you. Yes a tricky one. Not sure I have it exact but hopefully close.

Who played bass for Head East on this song? The bass on this song sounds like it was a Fender Jazz or Rickenbacker. Anyone know?

I am a fan of the Outlaws especially their debut album. I have a cover of Waterhole. I was amazed by the guitar work on it.

Close...missed a couple notes during synth solo.
But still solid.
