I don’t think it’s just the era the song is from, I think it’s just her voice because I get chills and/or tears no matter what’s she’s singing! It’s just her voice and the emotions she is able to convey with her voice and that piece of herself she injects into each song. 10+!

singer, artist,,, i think nobody today is even close to her level because she do not sing , she is a voice from somewhere up there and we dont have actually words to describe it we can only experience it ,pureness and innocence makes her almost angelic and thats the difference

Angelina is really that good. There's no pretense, and she gives us all she has. Her magic, other than her vast vocal gifts, is her empathy. She has always perfectly conveyed emotions she's too young to have experienced, herself. But, she has done it since she listened to her grandmother's jazz greats (like Billy Holiday) records as a tiny kid. She brings that element to all her songs, including covers of songs thought should never be attempted.

Singing When We Were Young at her age can be very awkward, even when it's sung well. But Angelina is beyond 'well'. She is phenomenal. I believe every word. Her soul must be very old.
I truly believe that Angelina Jordan will be one of the most important singers for the decades to come. She is totally unique. She is totally Angelina Jordan.
Yes ! You're right. There is something in her voice. Something very special that moves you inside and lifts your spirits. Or even cleanses your soul a little. And brings you to tears.
She likes that era too. I think maybe it's the heart she puts into her singing that comes through. I don't know it's like you have found a dish of food that never get's old, but you never find out what the family secret for making it is. At some point you realize that it is just going to happen every time you eat that dish. The same with Angelina. We may never know because it is a product of how she was raised the musical influences she grew up with, the freedom to express without suppression. Then there is genetics, a scraped knee, a hit on the head, all these things mixed together to allow this voice to come out. Then there is the love of the music and the undaunted desire to create. If there is one thing, or ingredient missing, it changes the flavor. So at some point we just have to enjoy it for what it is, a miracle of the universe, and happy us get to enjoy it. It doesn't change the fact that I cry every time I hear her sing. I do not know what her voice finds in me for me to respond, it just does. So I accept it and enjoy it. As I'm sure you do. I don't know what else to say, Angelina is just that good. I say all this and then I remember she is somewhere between 11-12 yrs.old, then my brain falls out of my head again. Until the next time.

Lovely tune by Adele... and Angelina squeezes every drop of goodness out of it. The accompaniment is tastefully understated with the double bass giving it a solid, fuzzy backbone. AJ from a very early age possessed a mystery ingredient. What a talent!

A few examples ; "I'll Be Seeing You", "I Only Have Eyes For You", "But Not For Me", "The Man I Love", "Our Love Is Here To Stay", "Someone To Watch Over Me", "Night and Day", and so many more ! I've said it before and I'll say it again, Angelina is a once in a generation talent. I could listen to her sing the phone book. Just wait another 10 years and she reaches the ripe old age of 24. SMH, just amazing!
There are a fair number of great singers currently changing our music. You can listen to them and be amazed. But no singer can create the emotions within that Angelina can create within.
Live and outside performance, and still top notch! Not many can do this. She's a national treasure.
I have listened to so much music in my life...it is my life...all different styles and genres and I dont think anyone esp someone so young has ever made me feel the way I do every single time I hear her sing. Always get chills and goosebumps and the shear angelic beauty, her amazing talent and ability to truely make the song her own is so captivating and she brings tears to my eyes. She is definetly too young to be able to express such emotion in her voice. Makes me believe in reincarnation and think that she mustve been a star in her past life or lives. Undeniably one of the greatest singers to bless this world and this is just the beginning. Love her and love watching your reaction vids. Keep em coming. 😉

What with these tears. I never?@~ I never listen to this genre. I don't get in to it, until now! How is that possible. A 13 year old little girl you just want to protect. The love that's felt and carry day's later is insane. Walls all around this heart and she just wrecks you, but in a good way? Can't figure it out and been trying for years. I come back to the same thing....She is that she is! We let her hold our hearts, no fear either. ALL OF US! All of us. I must sound crazy.

I think the texture of her voice on this song is the best. Also I low the music a lot.
I love "Stay" also. But damn, it's very hard to say it's her best. She has so many great covers, that any one of twenty of them might qualify as her "best". And then there's the "leaked" video of "I'm Still Holding Out for You". That just blows me away. If she released that on an album, I believe it would zoom to the top of the charts. But alas, that's not going to happen.
its purely subjective I admit, but it is so smooth, shows great range which we all know she has, but often isn't displayed, and it pulls my "guts" out emotionally. she gets magical but moreso.

This angel of ours does live performances to perfection. A lot of her public performances are for charity, so it is highly unlikely that she will ever disappoint. Always a great vocalist, always a great humanitarian.

Maunalee, it's her voice, not the song, genre or era of music that you love. Her voice is captivating, gives me goosebumps & makes me cry & I don't know why. I listened to Fil from the Wings of Pegasus talking about Patsy Cline's voice. He talks about how Patsy used vocal fry to resemble the cry of a baby the we are hardwired to react to & it grabs our attention. It is a very interesting theory & everything he said pertains to Angelina's voice. This may explain the mysterious, magic effect to Angelina's voice that so many are drawn to.
